I just have to throw another one in here. Just checked out the thread with Dead Girl and Northstar. Hee! The image of DG dropping her book and looking like the corpse that she is? Great! JP's bluntness? Too funny!
This scene just really made me smile, and I had to send a shout out to both involved! great job, guys!

Another random act of awesomeness: Kitty's reaction to meeting Lockheed. The progression of thoughts from thinking her room was infested with bats (loved that!) to thinking she'd gone nuts to having a sense of familiarity was absolutely brill!
Good job Kitty!

Aww, thanks so much, Lockheed! I was hoping you'd like the reaction! And I must give you much deserved credit for writing a character with no dialogue, but yet being able to convey so much, and give me lots to work with. Great scene! ;D

A somewhat belated ovation for Nightcrawler and Kitty in the Grand Theft Auto thread. That was pure and simple genius amusement.
Those two are pretty funny together...though we don't exactly have to worry about them taking over the world or anything!

Wow....the scene between Bobby and Kitty in the Boys' Dorm is really nice - and I'd feel that way even if it weren't sort of about me. It's funny and it's poignant....and it's flawless characterization in a scene that feels like it has relevance and is moving those characters forward. Nicely done.

Thanks, Beast! That's good to hear.
;D
And yes, I was just dropping in to say how much I enjoyed the Redeemed by the Blood thread. It went to great lengths to show a lot of character revealing and development in all the characters, but most especially Creed.
He has some interesting things going on with his character right now.

Ditto Bobby's thank you, Beast!
And I very much enjoyed the Redeemed by Blood scene as well. Maybe I'm strange, but I loved seeing Creed all grr and murderous. I was on the edge of my seat!

*squeal* xevolved.proboards35.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=medlab&thread=1112491779&start=75Post number 78, Nightcrawlers. Wow, just, wow. I found it very poignant, very touching, very cute ^_^ And lovely how it wasn't just a straight 'Creed's bad, you shouldn't have done that' He accepted that Creed is a *person*, and that he's bad for a reason, and without that reason he'd probably be different, I love that. It's hard enough to find people who think like that outside the comic book - too fixated on the concept of good and bad - so to find someone *in* character who can see that, it's brilliant. I love Kurt *glomp* Oh! And I was very proud of my part of 'redeemed by the blood' - but I think the other characters all did a fantastic job as well, it was a brilliant scene to do. I also love how we ended up with them getting married (an ooc conversation, it started with me saying how amusing it'd be if Creed was at the altar and Callie had to walk down the aisle to get to him, and grew from there)

You folks are out of your ever-lovin' minds for trying it, but the scene with the two no-talkers is actually working out really well. Nice job to both Lockheed and Kirra for pulling it off. Also, I got a chuckle out of the way this was phrased: (That's a good thing.) She stared at the animal with a holy-cow look on her pale face.

Hey thanks! Silent characters often (in my opinion) are the stronger characters! Thats one of the reasons Kirra's a mute.
I think every one who can talk should spend one day with out talking- not even e-mail / notes. I've done it before for a day and a half... I could have gone longer... but I had to tell my brother I passed an exam... Oh well.
Going mute for a day (or longer) really gives you a strong appreciation for people who cannot speak...

Going mute for a day (or longer) really gives you a strong appreciation for people who cannot speak... Listening to some people who can does that, too.
