Thanks. I think in a way Jacob's right...my style...my confidence have evolved. Since Surge was a "from-scratch" she gets the benefit of emerging more-or-less as I wanted her to. (Hate to admit that my familiarity with the character started when she applied... :/ Haven't read any of the books she's been in, but the more I learn the more I like her.) With the others it's a little like sitting down to ink something when you don't want to mess up the pencils. (I'm notorious for inking photocopies.) It takes more fussing than if I just started over, I think, because I don't want to lose something in the name of experimentation.
That said, I am trying to move my 3D artwork in a little more dramatic direction. And you start one it sort of starts a chain reaction.
Beast is like that in my head, too...and until the Astonishing book came out I didn't like cat!Beast much at all. John Cassaday changed that - I like his version very much.

Welcome, Surge! It's always good to have another hottie at the tute. That's short for Insta...instit...school.

Oh, and these pictures rock, Beastie Boy. Maybe you could make one of Surge where she's stretching up and kind of arching back or something. I don't know, I just get these inspirations.

Yes, Robert, your inspirations are nearly legendary.

I don't really get why everyone throws themselves at this guy...I mean what? He's only ridiculously hot. (coughcough *squeeeee*... Yes...yet another hopelessly devoted Remy fan..it just cannot be helped.) You know what's really inspiring?....2,000volts to the ice cubes. ;D Thank you...you know, something tells me you might actually end up being fun, Frosty.

Course I will! ;D
I'm special.
And is it just me, or does it look like Remy is talking to someone with bad breath? Maybe that shot could go together with the one where Creed ate his gum.

OMG, eeee! New art! *bounces* I didn't think it was possible for you to get any better at this, Hank, but I think you may have even surpassed your already awesome self!

Between these and the incredible quality of writing coming from the thread they are inspired by, y'all should color me impressed.
Nice work Doc.

Can we color you pink instead? ;D
I'd say more awesome things about your work, Beast, but I can't think of anything to describe them as other than "awesome."
I can, however, say that I do enjoy reading those threads a lot. Everyone's doing a great job. Part of me wishes I were in on the action, but then I realize that I couldn't keep up with all the awesome being flung around in there.

Can we color you pink instead? ;D I don't know if pink is really my color. How about a nice burgundy instead? But yeah, there's so much awesome around here as of late, (not that there wasn't awesome around here before, but there's an excess of an excess of awesome). Good job everyone!

Aw, thanks, guys. Well, this one went all kinds of directions except where I wanted it to. On the bright side I think it's a step up from the last one I did but sadly I just exited the renderer without saving the setup so when I reapproach it'll be back to square one. Oh, well.
