Jonothon parked the bike in a secure parking lot, paying the fee without a murmur. Better to pay and have the bike there, and in one piece when they returned then to face Scott's further wrath. He took Christine's hand for a moment as he led her into what was, admittedly, one of the less nice areas of Bayville.
"It's up this way."
The line wasn't that long, and they got into the club easily. German Industrial blasted from the speakers, making talking of any kind almost impossible, the predominant colour was black and material of choice was leather. Gyrating bodies danced in the middle of the club as Jonothon and Christine made their way through the crowd.
"So, a dance, pet?"

OOC: Jono, pet, we "stole" his *bike*, not his car We sort of borrowed it from him. We'll give it back Sure, why not? Christine answered telepathically. Thank goodness we're telepaths. It'll make talking to each other hell of a lot easier.

((OOC: It's fixed now. I don't know why I wrote car...minor brain failure, mebbe))
"Yer get used ter the volume of music," Jonothon said, taking her hand and leading her deep into the crush of the dancefloor.
"'Sides, people don't usually come here to talk..."
He eased his way past a couple who were verging on the pornographic in the way they danced, the girl in Lolita Goth wear with lots of frills and bows, the boy just dressed in standard, slightly shabby looking black.

Ew much Christine asked, glancing over at the same couple. She rolled her eyes. Get thee to a bedroom. She smiled at Jono and gestured to the floor. Shall we dance?OOC: censorship

"Just the normal freaks and society outcasts out ter forget and pretend they don't care," Jonothon said, as the heavy beatbeatbeat of the Inudstrial was replaced by Black Sabbath.
"More'n half the people in this room are tripping or drunk, or both."
Jonothon started to move his body to the beat, inviting Christine to join him with a raised eyebrow.
"Dance, yeah?"

Christine smiled and swayed to the music. Her eyes closed slowly and a content smile found its way to her features. When I take the floor As I've often done before I feel a change come over me I get such a thrill It feels like time is standing still And starlight is the only thing I see
When it's only me and the music, I leave the world behind (Only me and the music) When it's only me and the music I am free! I am poetry in motion When it's only me and the music
My heart starts to race I go soaring into space And music is the only thing I hear
When it's only me and the music, I leave the world behind (Only me and the music) When it's only me and the music I am free! I am poetry in motion When it's only me (only me) and the music she sang softly over her telepathy.

Jonothon danced with Christine, rapidly losing himself on the flow of thoughts in the room and the music's rhythm.
"Luvverly, pet, just luvverly," Jonothon said in response to her singing.

"And not a one of 'em thinking about killing anything, or blowing things up, or taking over the world...except in a joking way," Jonothon sighed.
"Makes a nice change, don't it?"

I will personally go Dark Phoenix on the first person who tries to ruin my one evening out Christine said, glancing about the room. I've put up with way too much and I'd be ready to explode.

"Uh uh, ducks, we're here to have a good time. Which means no mentioning of that," Jonothon scolded her lightly, putting an arm around her waist to pull her away from a drunken girl behind her.
The girl was spinning in circles, arms outstretched and obviously high on something not very legal. She had nearly hit Christine in the head through pure inattention.

Point. Christine muttered darkly, before getting faux cheerful. Seven shades of illegal running through her veins.
She dodged another spinning arm. Luv

"Oh, it's when they get over friendly, that's the problem," Jonothon said cheerfully.
"Most Goths have few morals. Especially regarding sex. Always an interesting thing when yer go out."
He helped her dodge again by moving away from the the girl and pulling Christine with him.
"Bloody hell, but I missed this. Didn't realise how much. Can barely remember the last time I took part in the scene..."

Fun crowd Christine thought, dodging insane people right and left. Are we having fun yet? Her blue eyes glanced about trying to pick out interesting outfits.

"Just let go," Jonothon urged.
"Fun's not fun if yer have ter think about it too much, pet."
He put one hand on her hip, eyes gleaming mischeivously from behind his jagged fringe as he danced to the dark music.
