I had... but I was still in shock at having learned who the OOC was behind the IC... [this is a IRL reference, just so folks don't start going insane trying to figure out that comment by reading the post...LOL]
The fact that I had NO CLUE who you actually were, despite having read many of your writings is a tribute to your ability to BE the character.
/me tips the hat

Thank you, Tatiana, for being the inspiration for why I've titled all the direct threads in my "storyline".

It's been far too long since someone posted here!
Firstly, eee, Kurt's return is filled with so much awesome! The tone is just perfect.
Also, am totally loving the Deefer/Sam thread. I love how wicked and devious Sam is! His using Deefer to destroy Kenny for slighting him is just... I can't think of the word I want, but it's just such an awesome read!

okay, I know this is rare but I totally want to put all of the Warren sample RPG up for sheer awesomeness It totally made me a giddy little schoolgirl. I mean, c'mon, who doesn't like a danger room sim that has Megatron in it? That was sheer awesome! I totally squeed when I saw Megatron speak. Oh, you made me a totally happy little obsessed fangirl for that whole sequence! And the fact that you two captured the Bobby/Warren friendship that was shown in the comics? Sheer genius! You guys totally rocked

“You will not be alone there.”
Kyle raised his head, and looked up at Ororo, his face painted in sorrow. He had been alone, so utterly alone for the longest time....
"Promise?" He asked, as his eyes locked onto hers. right there, that post right there it made me want to into Mother Hen mode

and from the very old "Project: Sapphire" thread: and the words of the morbidly humorous paratrooper hymn sprang unbidden to his mind. (To the tune of the Battle Hymn of the Republic) Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! And he ain't gonna jump no more!
"Is everybody happy!" cried the sergeant looking up Our Hero meekly answered, "Yes" and then they stood him up He leaped right out into the blast, his static line unhooked And he ain't gonna jump no more!
Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! And he ain't gonna jump no more!
He counted loud he counted long he waited for the shock He felt the wind he felt the cold, he felt that awful drop The silk from his reserve fell out and wrapped about his legs And he ain't gonna jump no more!
The risers wrapped around his neck, connectors cracked his dome Suspension lines were tied in knots around his skinny bones His canopy became a shroud as he hurtled to the ground And he ain't gonna jump no more!
Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! And he ain't gonna jump no more!
The days he lived and loved and laughed kept running through his mind He thought about the girl back home, the one he'd left behind He thought about the medics and he wondered what they'd find And he ain't gonna jump no more!
The ambulance was on the spot and jeeps were running wild The medics jumped and screamed with glee, rolled up their sleeves and smiled For it had been a week or so since last a chute had failed And he ain't gonna jump no more!
He hit the ground the sound of "SPLAT!" The blood went spurting high His comrades were all heard to say: "What a helluva way to die!" He lay there rolling ‘round in all the welter of his gore And he ain't gonna jump no more!
Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! And he ain't gonna jump no more!
There was blood upon the risers, there were brains upon his chute Intestines were a-danglin' from his paratrooper's suit They poured him from his helmet and they poured him from his boots And he ain't gonna jump no more!
Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! Gory glory, what a helluva way to die! And he ain't gonna jump no more!!! which at one point was my brother's away message on AIM. Good times XD Of course, it was only a few verses but yes, this was a flash from the past. Of course, if I have nightmares, I'm blaming you but awesome use of the song in that thread, Fury

Watching Creed hunker low to the ground and creep toward the building, the priest used his own form of stealth, his dark form practically melting into the shadows, two red pinpoints of light the only giveaway of his location. Bringing up the rear, he couldn’t ignore his nerves as he watched the others try their best to be invisible. This would have been better with just him and Creed when it came to reaching their destination unseen, but the others were necessary. Despite his nerves, though, the Cajun had confidence. More than confidence, he had faith. This was his purpose, to set things right with the world. He didn’t fool himself that it would be easy, but he knew somehow that it would work out. It had to. It was supposed to. God was watching over them tonight. When they finally all gathered again, he turned to the servant. Laying his hand on the young man’s shoulder, he leaned close to his ear and spoke in a low whisper. “We need t’ get in dere,” was all he said. He spoke only to the servant; he could not ask the Princess. It was a choice she had to make on her own. Nice.

Kurt Wagner ran. As he did his thin human form seemed to lower, to tighten. The shadows that covered him seemed to twist and reshape him. Yellow eyes pierced the darkness....searching....but the being they belonged to was more gargoyle or demon than man. They were noticed. He was sure of it. The only question was how long they had before whatever heard or caught their scent was able to intercept them. Any confrontation would go badly, no matter how minor the hunter. If it was S'ym...or Belasco... ...it was infinitely worse. this has me eager to see what's going to happen next because I know who those two are and I'm quite eager to see how they got warped for this universe. If they were evil in the real - I'm almost afraid of the nightmares that they'll cause in this 'verse. Just tell me that we aren't going to go the Universe X route for Belasco. Please?
