"No way they'd have green troops on perimeter in a place like this. Not sure just what yet, but there's somethin' rotten in Denmark. If this is a walk in the park, why dontcha stroll on over an' deal with those two jokers? An' keep it quiet. Somethin' here's puttin' out some bad vibes."
That was the best news she had heard so far. A small smirk emerged from her lips with a maniacle grin as she slid her glare over to Nick with a nod before heading out.
She was gone before he could take another look next to him. Like the wind she disappeared from his sites, maneuvering her way around the rocks and trees without so much as a willow of breath to see where she was. It was as though she had disappeared from that very area, escaped finally.
But she hadn't. Samantha rested up against a huge maple peering quietly around the corner at the two guards at the gate. She glanced up at the guard walking the upper wall, then back down the the two again. She waited for the right time, the right distraction to get their attention.
When the guard turned and made his way back down the wall away from the area of the two guards, she made her move. Her rounded blade left her side and shot like a bullet against a rock making a small enough spark and sound for only the two guards to see and hear. They began to walk over to her general direction weapons raised.
Just a little closer, she muffled under her breath. At the right moment, she softly unzipped her black leather suit just enough to expose enough cleavage for the right visual effect. She took off her gloves and dropped them near the tree. No man, no matter how much he was trained, could resist a damsel in distress.
Walking around the tree, her hardened iced expression changed dramatically to that of a an innocent victim who was in desperate need of a man's warmth against her body. As she strutted up towards the men with their weapons raised, a sexual monotone voice quietly spoke.
"Why gentlemen, you wouldn't shoot an unarmed woman in need of some warmth now would you?", she asked tilting her head innocently to the side. The first officer gulped at her appearance while the other one froze where he stood. She obviously got their attention, now to dispose of them, quietly.
She walked right up to these obvious rookies standing in between them facing her objective with a seductive smile. Softly she ran each hand with her fingers up each of their arms. "Please give me some warm arms to wrap around my cold body", she continued eyeing each one like candy she would dissolve in her mouth as her tongue erotically rolled around her lips.
The two didn't move, just as she wanted. Turning around becoming directly inbetween their bodies and facing the same way as them, her hands slithered down their stomachs to their inner thighs barely touching the merchandise making their way down their legs as she slouched into a very prevocative postion.
As their weapons lowered more, and their eyes made focus to her in a more inappropraite manner, the assasin made her move. Within a blink of their eyes, her hands were from her ankles to their throats piercing each one directly into the larynx with two small very sharp daggers severing a primary artery. She watched as each on gasped for their last breath gurgling the violet colored blood inside their throats. She suspected their eyesight was instantly blurred and the only feeling they experienced was the oozing of red liquid draining down within the confines of their uniforms.
Sapphire just stood their as their bodies dropped one by one like flies at her feet.
Objective completed.

Holy $#!+.
Fury had been watching Sapphire through the binocs, fully prepared to have to bail her out. Apparently he didn't need to. She wasn't the least bit efficient though, announcing her presence and taking entirely too long to strike. He didn't know where she picked that up, but that'd come to a screeching halt tonight.
Once she got started, though, there was no questioning her technique. Her skill was only matched by her brutality. There was a lot bottled up inside this one.
He crept forward as Sapphire gazed dispassionately at the crumpled bodies at her feet, and crouched next to her, motioning her to get out of sight.
"Next time, take 'em out before startin' that Mardi Gras horse$#!+. You got lucky. If they'd even been half awake, they woulda tripped an alarm and then enjoyed tha show. C'mon, let's get 'em outta sight an' search 'em fer intel."
Fury grabbed one of the dead guards by his battle harness and dragged him into the bushes, smoothing the snow behind him with a broken branch.

She had one man by his bloodied collar when behind her she heard the ramblings of Fury disturbing her triumphant moment.
"Next time, take 'em out before startin' that Mardi Gras horse$#!+. You got lucky. If they'd even been half awake, they woulda tripped an alarm and then enjoyed tha show. C'mon, let's get 'em outta sight an' search 'em fer intel."
She rolled her eyes unaware that her leather suit was still unzipped. Her frozen placid stone look returned as his comments only made her assumptions of this cocky moron more imminent.
"If you'd have cleared your glasses before gazing your eye through them, you'd have seen their obvious inexperience as I noted before. We still got one more to deal with. If you want quick, then don't blink."
She didn't even give him time to respond as her legs lifted her across the snow with grace an ease of a gazelle across the plains. The wall guard was making his way back to the area where the two soldiers once stood. He would surely notice their absence right away so she had to act quickly. Hopefully Fury took time from his yapping to cover up the evidence since no blood splattered anywhere and no sounds were made.
Behind the wall was a small metal ladder that almost reached the ground but far enough up the brick that a normal human couldn't jump to. However, Samantha wasn't any normal human being. She was a mutant, with catlike reflexes and some abilities stronger than humans, like jumping.
Knowing he was the only guard left that could conjur up any cattle call if needed, a little blood wouldn't be a problem or easily seen from way up there, if she needed to shed any.
At a full run, her feet left the snow and literally ran a few paces up the wall until her hands could reach the rails. Her gloves still lied with Fury but that didn't stop her from climbing up the rails like a cheetah climbing a tree. Once on top, she figured the guard was well on his way to the emptiness where the two slaughtered soldiers once stood. With stealthy steps and a hurried pace, Sam was at the edge of wall when she smelled the stenchy aroma of the man's obvious lunch as he round the corner looking for his buddies below.
Her breath was soft and lifeless as she stood there motionless at the right moment before striking. Sapphire still adorned her devious sexual wardrobe when the man's head finally peeked around the corner only to come face to face with an Amazonian beauty staring back at him. Her seductive wink was enough to take him every so slightly off his guard allowing her arms to slither up and under his weapon. With a small twist, jerk and pull, the weapon was falling to the ground below.
A smirk came across the very large, very burlesque man's face as his hand backslapped her backwards and nearly off the wall in one swipe. She hit the cement pretty hard feeling the blood dribble off her lips. Zipping up her failed decoys, she looked as the man came down the narrow walkway towards her again. She was pinned and needed to work fast to get back to her feet. With all of her might, she lifted her legs and kicked as hard as she could with a loud oomph only to see him trickle a few steps backwards.
Not putting much thought into the matter, she scurried herself barely through his large thighs to reach the corner of the wall once more. As he turned she closed her eyes.
The transformation was mastered. Her skin expanded quickly and the hair follicles grew ten times their normal pace. This had been part of her training, part of her mutant attributes heightened to profection. Within a matter of seconds her lavish body was now a large fierce Siberian Tiger barely able to fit inbetween the wall and the steel guard rail, but it was enough.
The guard was obviously stunned but came after her like a linebacker in the NFL. Sam's now furry large hind quarters hunched back anchoring her body down. With one leap, she was bounding him backwards with a her weight slamming him hard to the concrete. The guard had time for one thing and one thing only, to see her open her mouth exposing her long fangs.
Her teeth were sunk into his neck like a an apple as the tearing of flesh was compounding with the horrific scream shortlived by the unusually large soldier. The ripping of skin from the bone echoed from atop the wall and soon the body was convulsing from the torture. Transforming back into the beautiful Amazon, Samantha lifted herself back to her feet turning while wiping the blood from her lips with her blackened leathery sleeve.
"Needs more salt", she scowled.

Sapphire didn't bother cleaning up after herself as she sprang towards the wall after the other guard, leaving Fury to dispose of the other body. She was careless. That was gonna cost her one of these days. Fury hoped it wasn't tonight.
Hurredly going through the men's equipment, he found a pair of keycards and some small walkie-talkies. He decided to hang onto one, just in case someone tried to check in with the guards. He spoke several languages and knew the workings of HYDRA fairly well, he might be able to wing a response if it came to it.
Fury slipped through the gate and around the corner, brought up short by the sight of the wall guard dead at Sapphire's feet, just as she reverted back to her human form. Blood coated her mouth and neck, and she was as nonchalant about it as if she had been eating spaghetti.
Another man might have been shocked. Fury had seen worse. Much, much worse. And the nagging feeling at the back of his neck wasn't going away.
Fury strode to where the guard lay. His face and neck were a mangled ruin, but most of his equipment was undamaged. Fury's initial impression had been right: the man was gigantic. Easily seven and a half feet tall and over five hundred pounds, and built like a brick icehouse. An icy ball began twisting in Fury's gut as he played a hunch. He looked up at Sapphire.
"Make yerself useful an' keep an eye out. I'm gonna check somethin' out." He tapped the side of his mouth with a finger. "You've got somethin' on yer face, by tha way."
He ripped the man's sleeve open at the shoulder, and inspected the arm with a small red-lensed flashlight. A deep impression could be seen, carefully shaped as if with a brand. Fury felt ill as he recognized the symbol.
A swastika with a skull in the center.
Fumbling in his belt, he withdrew a small device. Holding it to his eye, he bent close to the brand, searching around the edges. The image magnifier showed a pair of initials, almost too small to be seen with the naked eye, that were burned there with laserlike precision.
AZ.
Fury sat back on his haunches. For a long moment he was silent, then he simply blurted out, "Mo-ther-f****r."

Seeing Fury up on the wall with her gave her a slight uneasiness as she wondered how he quickly jolted up so high and wasn't even out of breath.
"Make yerself useful an' keep an eye out. I'm gonna check somethin' out." He tapped the side of his mouth with a finger. "You've got somethin' on yer face, by tha way."
Her hardened lifeless expression never left her eyes as she uttered a response before obeying her orders from Captain Cutlass.
"Well two eyes ARE better than one", she mumbled turning herself around licking the outside of her mouth savoring the last bits of blood from her latest victim.
She was just about to make herself invisible and scan the area on foot when an unexpected burst of profanity escaped Fury's lips.
"Mo-ther-f****r."
Her first reaction was to ask if he had lost his other eye, but she just turned around placing her finger to her lips.
"Shhhh, you don't want to expose our whereabouts do you?"

Fury stood, glancing warily about as he stowed his gear. At Sapphire's admonishment, he turned a baleful eye towards her.
"Well, if they don't hear me, they can always follow tha trail of bodies with their throats torn out."
He tapped his whisper mic. "All units. Madcap. I say again, Madcap. Acknowledge."
There were several clicks as the team leaders signalled they had heard and understood. They were slow in coming, and hesitant.
Fury looked back to Sapphire. "We've got some big snakes in this nest, sweetheart. Ones that I thought were long gone. Playtime's over. Stick to my ass. I mean it. No more runnin' off by yerself. Yer just gonna get yerself killed. Or worse, get me killed. Too much is ridin' on this for heroics, we gotta work together. Any issues you need ta take out, now's yer chance. Won't be time later."

Bigger snakes? You mean the man outside was just a prototype of what was waiting for them inside? Lovely.
Man that Fury sure knew how to run off at the mouth. If he'd stop and take a moment to actually see she was on "his" side, then maybe he'd shut his trap so they could get this mission done and over with. And besides, Sam was getting hungry. That taste of blood stirred her stomach for having lunch. When she was hungry she was even more of a bit.....
"If I had any issues, you wouldn't be standing there talking to me. Now can we get this show moving? I have an ass to stick to", she retorted giving a short glance around to her surroundings.

"Now yer learnin'."
Fury handed one of the guards' keycards to Sapphire, and hopped off the wall ledge. He had noted her surprise at his ease in gaining the wall, but chose to ignore it. There were lots of things Fury did that 87 year old men weren't supposed to do.
Using other buildings inside the castle wall as cover, Fury slipped through the shadows and peered around a corner at the entrance to the command center. Predictably, it was heavily guarded by more of the same ape-like guards that they had encountered earlier. But still, there were only two guards posted. If it were Fury, there'd be a machine-gun emplacement beside the door, plus snipers on the adjoining rooftops. He'd seen no evidence of either.
But, there was no rule against looking for a back door. Fury hadn't lived this long by being stupid.
Skirting around the back of the main building, Fury crouched behind a dumpster. Rolling back his left sleeve, he raised his arm and fired a small grappling hook to the roof. One of the perks of the espinage biz was the cool gadgets. Tax dollars at work.
Fury tugged on the line to make sure the hook had a firm grip, then looked to Sapphire. His eye twinkled in amusement as he held out his other arm.
"Well, hop on. Next elevator might be awhile."

Taking the card, Sam placed it neatly in an inside pouch on her forarm for safe keeping. She watched him leap like Superman off the edge and land neatly on his feet. Either he's a mutant, or he's been taking some really good Flinstone vitamins, rummaged through her brain as she followed him with her own leap to the ground.
Landing on her feet with the grace of a feline, Samantha followed Fury to his next destination. When he stopped she stopped and quietly, like she wasn't even there. She was sure he would turn to make sure she didn't run, but he didn't. Peering around a stone corner, his eye widened as he came back quickly glancing from left to right in deep thought. She mouthed the words "back door" and must have read his mind.
Darting around to the back, she followed him like a second skin until he stopped and placed his hand on his arm. A grappling hook shot out and up taking its rightful place hooked around a metal bar.
"Well, hop on. Next elevator might be awhile."
She looked at him with her own twinkle, only this time responded before acting.
"My weight will only make you slower. I'll meet you at the top."
With that she used his back as leverage as she leaped up on top of him light as a feather grabbing the rope and climbing up to the top quickly like climbing a flight of steps.

Fury enjoyed the view for a moment as Sapphire shimmied up the line with catlike grace, disappearing over the edge of the roof. He then activated the grappler's reel and hauled himself up. Crawling over the edge of the roof, he crouched and took in the roof's features.
It was a mostly flat roof, its ancient architecture marred by more modern air handlers and vents, antennas and dishes, and a large skylight in the center.
Fury slipped to the skylight, lying flat next to it so to not be silhouetted by the bright moonlight. He withdrew a handheld monitor connected to a long, thin fiber-optic cable. He switched on the monitor and slowly edged the cable over the skylight, using the small camera to peek inside without a telltale human shape.
At first, he was pretty certain they'd found what they were looking for. He could make out banks of computers and monitors, and what appeared to be several different types of scientific instuments. Fury couldn't tell what they were, that was never his particular strength.
Scanning to the other end of the room, his heart skipped a couple of beats.
There were rows upon rows of large Plexiglas vats, each filled with a strange green liquid and containing a large humanlike occupant. They were similar to the gigantic guard they had seen earlier, but some of them had extra arms, legs, and even heads. Some had none. This was madness straight out of a bad horror movie. But it was real, and it was right in front of them.
And Fury had seen it before. Sixty years ago.
Fury put away the monitor and began searching the skylight for sensors. "This' tha place. We gotta find a way inside, snatch any intel we can find, an' blow it up quick. Grab whatever's in arm's reach, but don't take too long. Tha quicker we're outta here, tha better."

Wearing black had its advantages in the night. You could be totally comaflauged with the right head gear and gloves. However, Samantha never regained her gloves from the first kill, something she just passed on as a mistake never to be done again. Or, she would be tortured like before for making such a small error. Either way, her mental memory wouldn't allow for that to happen again.
As Fury made it over to the top, he quickly scanned the area and headed toward the large lighted glass in the center. Her quietness allowed her to sneak around undetected and she made sure she couldn't be seen as well. She watched as the one eyed soldier brought out another one of his toys and used it to see what was around.
She didn't need special devices to see what was beyond that glass. Sam noticed the large vials of green goo with their current inhabitants and just took a swallow. Hopefully, there were none of those things there to greet them once inside. From the looks of the computers and data banks, they had hit a central control area and whatever Fury was after was more than likely hidden in this room.
Samantha scanned the skylight herself, but something inside was catching her eye. Security cameras and a laser security system. Whatever that was in there, was very important for such safety precautions.
"This' tha place. We gotta find a way inside, snatch any intel we can find, an' blow it up quick. Grab whatever's in arm's reach, but don't take too long. Tha quicker we're outta here, tha better."
She took his arm gently within her grasp to talk low and grab his attention.
"The skylight is the least of our worries. Those security cameras and security system needs to be disabled. You get this glass off, I'll get those security cameras before anyone can blink."

"Good idea. Make sure ya find a way ta make 'em feedback into themselves. If ya just shut 'em off, that'll attract their attention just as much as an alarm. An' make it quick. Once I get this glass pane off, we'll haveta drop in tout de suite."
Fury attached another device to the window, sliding thin wires between the pane and the frame. He then placed the palm of his glove firmly on the smooth glass, and waited a second.
With a soft crackle, the seal around the pane crumbled to ash. Fury lifted his hand experimentally, and the pane stuck like glue to his palm. He looked over to Sapphire to check her progress.

She was quite impressed with the little device that Fury came up with to disentegrate the glass. She gave him a smirked smile, something she rarely attained anymore, but it quickly changed to a furrowed inquisition as he glared at her.
"What? Did you expect me to just twinkle my nose. Now if you'll move aside slightly", she asked moving into position to take a look inside.
There were indeed three cameras inside. Two were opposite each other guarding the glass tubes and computers, while the last one was on the opposite wall of the door. "They're made of metal, sweet", she whispered unlocking her weapon from her belt. Bringing it forward, she crawled to the edge of the glass propping herself up in mid air using all abdominal muscles. With a sharp fling of her wrist the rounded blade was off into the room headed straight for a wall with no camera.
However, it was her intention to bounce her pride and joy off the wall so it could make a clean slice of the first camera's lens as it dropped to the floor. The chakram then ricocheted within a blink of an eye to another wall, then the second camera over the glass tubes slicing its lens like the one before. It made its final bounce off a metal piping and came back to her hand where she quickly released it again bending in to the empty skylight seemingly ready to fall through. But her intense training made all the muscles in her body toned better than a well trained marine and the chakram shot from her wrist and hit camera lens straight on slicing off like a carrot with a paring knife.
It ricocheted once, then returned to her hand and she rolled herself up and back to solid ground without breaking a sweat. The entire time was only a matter of seconds and she looked over to Fury.
"Objective completed"

Fury had barely enough time to appreciate the view of Sapphire's posterior sticking out of the window frame when she hauled herself back up, the odd discus-like weapon in her hand and a smirk on her face.
It was her statement that caught his attention, though. Objective completed. Calm. Collected. Almost robotic. Like it had been programmed into her. He pushed it aside. Something to look into later.
He cautiously peered over the ledge, and noted that her aim was nothing short of outstanding. He could only hope there were no motion alarms placed; if there were, it was too late now.
"Nice work. Let's move."
Hooking his grapple to the window ledge, he dropped through the frame, submachine gun at the ready. He slid to the floor of the command center, where he immediately crouched behind a desk, his weapon scanning this way and that for any sign of an ambush.
Nothing. Nothing at all.
This was getting too creepy. The floating monstrosities in their vats didn't improve his mood in the least.
Motioning to Sapphire, he began scanning the desktops for anything that might be of value.

She barely caught a glimps of the one eyed wonder taking notice to her posterior as she arose and placed the chakram back into place. She just shrugged it off as a man thing and awaited his orders.
He seemed to inspect her work and she almost thought he would lift that patch and reveal a bionic eye or something, but she got something even more unexpected...a compliment.
"Nice work. Let's move."
It caused her to raise a brow, but keep her hardened chilled facial expression as he began to lower himself down to the floor below. Fury began searching around like he lost a contact and she knew then he wasn't computer literate.
Making her own entrance, she leaped from the ceiling, and caught a pipe almost a third way down and swung off like a dismount at the Olympics, flipping once and landing softly and quietly on her feet, of course, below. The landing stung a little as the jump was further than anticipated, but she suffered worse pain at the hands of her torturers and shrugged it off.
Samantha walked over to a display screen Some important data appeared on the screen when she motioned the mouse and it relit the monitor.
"Looks like we'll have company really shortly", she said scanning the data on the screen for something. Something did look extremely important. Sam looked around and grabbed a CD and placed it in the drive. Bent over slightly, she keyed in the appropriate command and the data was being copied.
