The party was hopping now, and Rogue smiled happily as she turned to watch everyone dancing and talking, and… jumping into the punch bowl. Maybe she should go inside. She wouldn’t be drinking anything any time soon, that was for sure, but she could cut the carpet with Wanda? That might be fun. Or talk to Kitty or Bobby, neither of which she had seen in forever; she really missed their uplifting personalities.
Clunking into the room in her steel-toed combat boots, Rogue wandered in the direction of the food table, all the while casting a nervous glance at the blue fuzzy thing swimming in their juice.
Awkward.
So, to bide her time, she snatched up a carrot stick, looked it over to be sure it was safe, and popped it in her mouth.
