"Wait, you're younger," Shatterstar said slowly, staring at Theresa.
"My name is Shatterstar. I was a Champion of Mojoworld, and then a rebel, and then...a member of X Factor. A friend. Of yours."

Terry stared at the man in disbelief. "Wha-?" she asked. Mojoworld? X-Factor? "Wha' in bloody 'ell are ye talkin' abou'? Oi don' know ye one lick!" She didn't know how to respond to the situation and said whatever came out of her mouth. "If ye're really who ye say ye are, then tell me somethin' abou' me."

Taela stepped back, in case either attacked. She did not want to get in the crossfire.
Kurama came back, dragging a large bath towel. Taela took it, and held it to offer to the man once he'd explained himself.

Shatterstar blinked slightly at the fox, then took the towel from Taela when she offered it. He offered her a grateful smile, before wiping the blood off his face. The eight-pointed black star around one eye became much more prominent once the concealing gore had been cleaned away.
"Thank you, senorita. It is much appreciated."
He then looked at Theresa.
"Ah...your father, Sean Cassidy, also known as the Banshee, has been a member of various law enforcement agencies, but is most well known for his work in Interpol and as mentor for the now disbanded Generation X. You inherited his sonic scream as your mutant ability, as well as his red hair and Irish temprement. When you get drunk, your accent becomes much more pronounced. You lead with your right side when you fight, which you do very well. You have a very wicked sense of humour."

Terry's eyes got wider from the start. "No one knows about m'father!" She pushed him up against the wall and held him there at his chest with her forearm. "Did Thomas send ye?!" She was angry. No one else knew about her father. She herself had just found out.
Then, she looked at his eyes. They were not that of an enemy. The look of anger disappeared off her face, and she released him and backed away. "Sorry," she apologized. "Oi guess ye're right abou' m'temper. Oi jus' wasn't goin' t'tell anyone jus' yet." She turned to Taela and said, "Oi wasn't tryin' t'lie t'ye or anything. M'name is Rourke. Oi use m'mother's maiden name."

Taela shrugged. "Parentage means little to me. My father was the Tavington Family black sheep, a world-class moron and a bastard to boot."
Taela paused, listening to the rumbles and the sounds coming from another part of the mansion. "Someone's fighting... but I really do not want to find out who."
Kurama jumped up past Terry and Shatterstar to stand in the window. "Look, the rain's finally stopped." Taela said.

Terry looked out the window. "Good, let's go," she said. Then she looked at Shatterstar. "We're going t'Muir Island. Are ye comin' with us?" she asked.

Shatterstar let Theresa push him up against the wall, though he could easily have stopped her. She needed someone to blame for a few moments, and he was willing to let it be him. When she stepped back, he half smiled.
"It is not a problem."
He looked outside as Taela pointed out that the rain had stopped.
"Muir? Yes, I must assume so. Where else would I go, but where there is at least one member of my team?"

Taela did a quick mental calculation. The weight of her trunk, plus the newcomer, whom she doubted could fly, bordered right on her in-flight carry capacity. And they had the whole ocean to go over.
"Unless you can fly, I guess I have to carry you." She said, looking at Shatterstar. She turned to Theresa. "Could you carry Kurama? And his things, please."

Terry looked at the fox and his belongings. "Yeah, Oi suppose Oi can, unless ye wan' me t'take 'im," she said, pointing at Shatterstar. She turned to him. "Wha' is yer real name anyway?" she asked.

"Although I was created to have many talents, sadly flying is not one of them."
Shatterstar smiled briefly.
"My arena name is Shatterstar. Among the members of my cadre, I was known as Gaveedra 7. Mostly you just called me Star."

Terry nodded and said, "Gotchye." She turned to Taela. "Ready when ye are." She was getting a tad impatient and wanted to get to her father as soon as possible.

"Right." Taela said. "I'll carry Star, just because I know I can at least glide most of the way, and I don't want you tiring yourself out."
She stepped outside after hoisting her luggage onto her back. Remaining in her english dragon form, she thinned herself out while stretching her wings out until they both dwarfed her. The trunk sank into her back until only an tiny bit of the top showed. She bent down in a bow-like pose.
"Well, climb up, Star. Lay down and get comfy, it's going to be a long flight. Don't sit, because it'll screw up my flying."

Shatterstar's eyebrows rose as Taela shifted, then agilely did as she asked.
"Most impressive."

Terry said over to Taela, "Jus' remember t'stay close t'me while flyin'. M'shield can protect ye from m'powers." She took out a ponytail holder and tied her hair back so it wouldn't get in her way and adjusted her bag and jacket.
She put Kurama's bag in her's before she leaned over to pick up Kurama for the flight. "Try not t'fiddle 'round too much, 'kay?" She looked up at Taela. "Ready?"
