"Not always." He politely disagreed. "It takes the mind off stuff when you can't think straight."
Angelo had to wonder what she had done exactly that prompted her opinion on the substance. Dare he ask?
"How bad was it?"

"Poundy headache and then my cat jumped on my face because I hadn't fed him. Diable's a sadistic little bastard sometimes," Jubilee said, nodding.
"Evil cat."

Jubilee responded by telling him of the headache, not the stupid thing he had some curiosity about. He gave her a sympathetic look at the rude awakening, especially in that state.
"And with a name like that, he sounds so friendly..." Angelo responded as she referred to a devil as evil, as if that weren't to be expected.

"He's usually friendly. If he was human, he'd be what is commonly known as a player," Jubilee said, nodding.
"He has red eyes. And black fur. Diable seemed appropriate. Although, I was thinking about Snowbell for a while..."

Angelo wore a funny look as the image of a cat boy player flashed before his mind's eye, a strange sight indeed. He managed to salvage the expression, looking thoughtful for the moment.
"Red eyes. Mutant cat?" He replied, as that was a new one to him. The name fit it well.

"Yep. First mutant animal I've ever actually seen," Jubilee said.
"And frankly, the idea of a cat telepath scares me. I hope they stick to physical mutations."

"I didn't think there were any." Angelo remarked with a slight nod. "Creepy thought, definitely. If it ever should happen, let's hope they don't understand English. O espaƱol..."

"I wonder if they would turn evil and try to take over the world, like the cats from Cats and Dogs?" Jubilee asked thoughtfully.
"That would be...insaaaaaane."
She grinned.

Angelo was silent for a moment at the suggestion. Scarier thought...
"Muy loco..." he agreed, eyes darting to both sides as if to demonstrate paranoia. He smiled despite trying to look worried.

"There could be like...a race of super cats! Plotting in villiany," Jubilee said, grin widening as she took the idea and ran with it.
"And they would require tribute of catnip."

Scarier than the ideas themselves, it dawned on him that he perhaps should be more worried that she was coming up with them all so effortlessly, expanding on them with fervor. Blinking as she mention super cats and a tribute, he shook his head at her.
"Shh. You'll give them ideas." He quipped sarcastically. He found her mention of catnip funny, but didn't point it out that a he jokingly wondered what human equivalent she had taken to inspire these thoughts.

"Oooh, because they're telepaths. They're reading my mind!"
Jubilee put her hands to her face in mock horror, starting to laugh.

"No!" Angelo exclaimed, going with it for a moment before she cracked up, taking him with her. Angelo needed a moment to breathe before he could say anything past the laughs.
"I gotta know, where do you come up with this stuff?"

"Out of the fevered imaginings of my brain, where else?" Jubilee said, between giggles.
She paused for breath.
"Oooh, my stomach hurts from laughing."

"The psychic cats don't beam it to you?" Angelo asked hopefully as she gave confirmation, continuing with a relieved tone. "Gracias a Dios.."
While Jubilee struggled for oxygen, her remark on the sore muscles put an evil idea in Angelo's head. A most awful, wicked idea. A fast step and she was in reach.
"It does now?" His expression matched his thought as he poked her playfully once. On most any girl he knew, it tickled.
