"I had the weirdest dream," Guido mused. "What's even weirder, I've had this one more than once. I'm having a party, in a hot tub with all these supermodels. And Al Sharpton. And my Gramma."
He grinned in embarrasment.
"An' then there's tha one with June Cleaver. She can push a mean mop, I can tell ya."

Jacob stopped in the middle of making his sandwich and started putting the ingredients away.
"I think I just lost my appetite. Please, don' say anythin' that could conjure up a bad mental image aroun' me. I live on mental images." Jacob figured that it was just a joke, but it had given him an idea for one of his own.
"S'like the song 'Okie from Muskogee.' Back when I was innocent and the Hag said 'pitchin woo,' I pictured a man throwin' some Asian guy."

Guido spit out the mouthful of sandwich he had just bitten off.
"BWAHAHAHAHA! That's a good 'un. I'll haveta remember that. You're all right, Jakester."

Jacob smiled smugly at the response he had gotten. It had been a long time since he had had something to joke about.
"It's even funnier when you see it done in an interpretive dance." He then got this look on his face like a surprised Asian.
"Ko! Sakumi jikawa!"

Tomo kinda sat aback. She never liked it when people talked about Japan, even as coments. She hated her past of being neglected and abanded, for her mother left her as an infant, then Xaveir brought her in from the cold.
Tomo sipped her juice in though. The joke was funny, but brought painful memories of things she didn't remember. She got out her CD player with "12 girls band" in it, an Eastern music group from Japan. She listened to the soothing music. And on accident, she tripped the cord, lettiening everyone hear the calm sensation.

When the Asian music became audible, Jacob Allan Merando felt like a real horse's behind. It had not even registered that Tomo was Asian, despite the obviously Asian name and appearance.
Turning to look at Tomo, he put one hand behind his head, his habit for when he was apologizing. "Ooh. I'm sorry bout that, Tomo. I didn' mean to hurt your feelings. I just get carried away sometimes."

"It's okay, Jacob. Let's please not talk about it..." Tomo eyes started to swell up with crystal clear tear of humiliation. A tear threatened to fall on the juice bottle she was holding.
Tomo eyes were blurry from the tears in her eyes, then she stood up.
"Excuse me, p-please." then she rushed toward the bathroom. As the footsteps faded, the sobs of a girl were heard echoing acros thehalls.

Jacob gradually felt worse and worse as Tomo started to cry. He hated it when girls cried. Especially when he was the reason they were crying. He didn't like hurting people who didn't deserve it. It made him feel...wrong.
Looking over to Guido, he sighed. "I guess I should go apologize again, huh?"

Tomo sat on the toilet, the door closed, sobbing. 'You idiot, Tomo. Some immpresion on the guy you like...' Tomo thought as she smacked her head. She looked at her hands. Those hands that would never age or wrinkle. The one reason everyone knew she was unhuman. Tomo never aged.
She would stay twelve. She would mature, but never die. It was her sign on resistance to the world. She wasn't afraid.
But she had pity, because she would see her frinds die, and she the end of the world when it came. She continued the sobbing, showing no signs of stopping.

"Yeah, she gets like that sometimes. She's had it kinda rough. She'll be fine, though, she's a trooper. Tougher than she looks."
He eyed the newcomer again, and furrowed his brow as again his eyes refused to focus. He frowned, and pulled off his goggles. Wiping the lenses with his shirt, he squinted. The view didn't change.
"So, uh, what brings ya here? The Prof send ya an invitation, or ya just drop by?"

"Well, that's certainly good to know. Now I'll try not to get her really mad at me. With my luck she probably has super strength or somethin'." Jacob resumed making his hoagie, since nothing could quell his hunger except for food. And even then there were times when eating made him hungry.
"Actually, one of the other students picked me up. Kitty was her name, I believe. Nice girl. Really nice girl, if you catch my drift."

Tomo wiped her eyes, and walked in the kitchen again. She heard Jacob talking about how she'd probably have super strengh.
"No. I have Dark Force Manipulation And teleportation." she said grinning. She was wondering why they were talking about Kitty. She shrugged, the walked to the fridge. Then, she came out with a brownie.
"Nice weather today, huh?" Tomo asked, biting into the brownie. She smiled, the look of her tears gone.

Jacob looked at Tomo, a confused expression on his face.
"Dark Force? Sounds like something that powered the Starship Enterprise. If it ain't that, I don' wanna know what it is." Then he watched as she went over to the fridge and pulled out a brownie. Turning to Guido, he whispered.
"Does she ever stop eating?"

"It's been rumored," Guido whispered back. "Although I can't prove it."
He grinned, and winked at Tomo. "I don't know where she puts it all, myself."

"Hn. It's like smart blondes and honest lawyers. You always hear about 'em but you never see 'em." Jacob replied before finishing up his sandwich and heading over to the fridge.
"Can I get you guys anything ta drink while I'm here?"
