Taela motioned for Lyle to come over. She pulled him over and whispered a bit to him. He nodded and went into the back. A few clinks of glass and a moment later he came back out with a tall, skinny glass filled to the top with a bright red drink. Taela smiled as she sipped it. "Ah yes, now that's a Ready to Go. Like liquid lava it burns. Would either of y'all care to try?" She offered, holding out the glass. "Watch out now, it's strong."
OOC- A Ready to Go is a *very* powerful dominican drink that is practically liquid fire it burns so much with all the alcohol. A taste, literally just a tiny bit on the tip of my tongue, was like one beer for me! I don't remember the ingredients, though. All strong stuff, though.

"Nae me," Christine said. "Ah like mah tastebuds in one piece, thank ye." She pulled her dark hair up into a ponytail and smiled.

Taela looked over at Remy. "Care to try? I'll take you home if you can't handle it."

Christine watched, curious to see if Remy took the other girl up on her offer. 'Oh, boy, how do I explain this to Logan?' she thought, shuddering at the fact she possibly disappointed him by drinking.

Remy frowned at Chris’ drink suggestion, before going back to staring at the olive in his beer.
She don’ know Roguey left, homme. Now suck it up before you get hit wit’ somet’in’ worse den an olive.
“I don’t know how to make that Fuzzy Elf thing, Remy, but here’s your Southern Belle,” Lyle said, looking confused as he set the drink before the brooding Cajun. Scowling, Remy slid the drink over to Christine.
“Inside joke, mon ami. But you know, we could always invent dat drink!” he responded, before forcing a smile on his face, and turning to the girls.
“Mixed drinks not really my style,” he replied, before fixing Taela with a mischievous grin. “Tryin’ ta get me drunk, so you can take me home, chere?”
'This feels absolutely wrong,' Christine chirped in his head. 'And believe me I had no idea the drink existed,' she added.

Taela laughed. "Nah, just tryin' to see what my competition is. Ya see, I like to get into a contest every now and then. I always win, of course." She chuckled before sipping her drink. " 'Sides, ain't y'all ever heard of trying something new?" She munched on an olive, pausing to glance up at Remy before tossing it in her mouth. "I just learned I'm a good shot with olives by trying something new."

Hearing Christine’s voice invade his head, Remy unconsciously brought up his mental shields, blocking her out without a word. His shields were usually impeccable, but lately they’ve been slipping.
“You always win? If I wasn’t doin’ de drivin’ t’night, I might jus’ take you up on dat challenge,” Remy responded, smirking. “But you be a good shot, I’ll give you dat.”
Swirling the remaining beer in his glass, he watched the olive bob in the liquid.

"Ye loove 'at olive, don't ye," Christine dryly noted, watching Remy play with his "pet" olive. She sipped her drink slowly, trying to keep from dropping her shields and getting a headache while at the bar.

Taela yawned. She could feel her facade slipping again. She forced it back and set the drink down. "I've had enough for tonight. If y'all could point me in the direction of the school, I'll be heading off now." She stood up and stretched lightly. "Nothing like a bit of a drink to loosen the limbs."

“I wouldn’t say dat, petite. Monsieur Olive be evil. Look at him jus’ sittin’ dere, plottin’ somet’in’. I gotta keep my eye on him,” Remy responded dryly, never removing his eyes from the glass, and the olive within.
“If you wanna stick aroun’ awhile, you can follow us dere when we return,” Remy said to Taela, still staring intently into his drink. “If not, de yellow brick road got destroyed, but Chris here can give you directions.”
"An' pray tell whit 'at olive is plottin'? Conquer tha universe?" Christine answered, just as dryly.

Taela smiled. "Sorry to hear the road's gone, but just how much longer are y'all plannin' on sittin' here exchanging halfhearted jokes?"

“Nah de universe will come later. Right now he jus’ t’inkin’ he wants ta control my body. But hey, wit’ a body like dis, who wouldn’t want it?” Remy finished, before finally turning his eyes back to the two women, a huge smile on his face.
“Half-hearted? You wound me, chere!” he replied, feigning hurt. “As fo’ how long we stayin’, dat be up ta her. I jus’ de chauffer on dis mission o’ mercy.”
"Tois ur thee mair," Christine said softly, wanting desperately to get drunk enough to block out the images of what she saw from the pervs at the shower and just be numb enough to forget her duty for only a moment more.
She laughed quietly at Remy's attempt at humor with the olive.
