Taela entered and looked around. The room seemed simple enough. Her only decision seemed to be which bed to flop down on.

"Haven't really had a chance to decorate and I've been here since I was ten," she sighed, rolling her eyes slightly. She walked over to her bed and fell on it, closing her eyes. "I just want to close my eyes and never wake up - I'm exhausted."

Taela shrugged.
"My room back at the farm's covered in horse and dragon posters. I should have my mom ship them up." She yawned and shifted into her favorite form-a Dragonfox. She stretched like a cat and curled up on the floor near Christine's bed.
"Then take a nap for an hour or something. You need sleep." She stretched her wings out and tried to go to sleep.

"Point taken," she whispered sleepily and fell sound asleep the minute her head touched the pillow.

Taela lifted her head for a moment to look at her friend
Just as I thought. I'll wake her up in an hour or so. A nap would be really nice now.
She put her head back down and fell asleep.

Christine slept quietly - a surprise considering how well she had been sleeping since Phoenix arrived and up until Phoenix arrived.

Taela always found sleeping in her Dragonfox form to be very comfortable. Her wings acted like climate control, so she was never too hot or cold. She just hoped that no one stepped on her tail without realizing she had 2. OOC- how long's an hour here? Same as regular time or is is sped up? I haven't really done an internet RPG before. It's fun!  |

OOC: sped up I think - although *shudder* we've had the same day go on for what, three weeks? *looks over at Rogue and few of the others*
However that was not to last very long.
Dark Phoenix chuckled softly. "Burn," she whispered, staring at the security guards. She laughed as she listened to their tortured screams. "Such is the fate of those who trifle with a cosmic entity."
Christine sat up suddenly, her eyes wide with fear and a mental scream rang out, waking nearly everyone who was asleep. Her eyes still saw what she did - yet it wasn't her per say.

Taela bolted awake with a screech. She leapt to her feet and glanced around, ready to attack with fur bristling. She relaxed when she saw saw Christine. In Dragonfox form, she did have slightly enhanced senses. It was enough to know that she'd had quite a fright. She padded over and jumped on the bed.
"What on earth was that? Did you have a nightmare or something?"

Christine nodded, still terrified by what she seen. "Daddy," she whimpered softly. "Where's Daddy? Daddy always comforted me." She closed her eyes tightly and tears streaked down her pale features.

Taela sighed. She curled her furry body around Christine and folded her wings in tightly. With one tail she wiped away a tear.
"C'mon now, it'll be alright. Hush now, relax, you're safe here. I'll never let anything hurt my friends." She said in a quiet, soothing voice.

Christine continued to whimper. She really wished Logan would come - that or Storm. Where were they? Tears continued to spill down her cheeks as she wept.

Bursting through the door without knocking Logan suddenly remembered that he was in a girls dorm room and shielded his eyes. "Ya ain't naked are ya?" He stayed like that until she responded.

Taela was worried. Nightmares did not normally upset people this much. Bringing her wings inside her body, she made one tail serpentine. She reached out with it, stretching it, and grabbed a box of tissues. She pulled them over and set them in front of Christine. "Shhh...it's alright, you're safe, c'mon, stop your tears...." She turned her tail furry again. "Do you want to talk about it?" She cocked her head to the side slightly, worry filling her blue eyes. OOC-just scanned my Dragonfox pic. I'm putting it on here in a minute! |
