“Ya think?”
Bobby had to tease her about the fact that she got all red-faced when she was around Kurt. Kind of like she was now. He smiled at her and with his arm still draped casually around her he gave her a little squeeze. “It’s okay though. I’m pretty sure he’s oblivious. He doesn’t understand chicks the way I do.”
"Yeah, he's real oblivious. I'm just grateful he hasn't called me on my blush yet," she murmured, still blushing. Of course, reality set back in as it was prone to do. "Maybe he knows and ... and just doesn't feel the same way," she said in that soft tone that meant she said something that she hadn't intended to say aloud but did because she wasn't paying attention to what she was saying. Standard Christine - if she remembered that was.
She paused. Oh God, he wouldn't, would he? Wait, this was Bobby. He could... He would... Oh, Lord, he would. "You.. aren't.. are you?" she asked, her voice strangled. Oh God, how could she look at Kurt if Bobby told him that she had a crush on him. Hello, God, it's me.. Please open the ground up underneath me so I don't have to deal with this.
“In regard to Doug and his power, Bobby didn’t have an immediate answer. He wasn’t really sure what he meant about Doug’s power being dangerous, but now that he was faced with trying to figure it out he was more sure than ever that it potentially was.
“I don’t know,” he said thoughtfully. “I figure…what could be more dangerous than words?”
She nodded. "I.. I suppose you do have a point, Bobby. A very good one."
