He was threatening on the air, all aggression and testosterone. Rahne licked her blackedged lips with an agile tongue, shifting uneasily on her feet. She wanted to attack. Throw herself onto the blades and let the woman slide free from his grasp. But would the woman die before she could do that? Too close to call. And he'd know about the lightning now. That was the kind of trick that only worked once.
A bitten off whine escaped her throat as she almost leapt when he roared, blades stabbing into the earth. He rolled, moved, putting the woman between him and herself, protecting himself with a flesh shield. Those blades still at her throat, that cafe au lait coloured skin with shining metal against it. Rahne drifted sideways, watching him carefully as she started to circle. Watching for signs she should just stop, stand still. BEfore starting to move again.
"Blaygird fool," she muttered. Blind. So damn blind. "She is the land. Can't you feel her in the rain?" She could. All over her skin. Against the red prickling fur, slicked down with raindrops from before. Smell of ozone and his burnt skin made her want to shake, shake all over. "Let her go, or we'll have some words, sure."

The Goddess barely flinched when the blade struck the ground beside her. She didn’t struggle as he proceeded to manhandle her either. She was far to angry to be frightened. How dare he treat her this way? How dare this lowly creature touch her in such a manner? She was a Goddess, and he would pay for his disrespect with his life.
Too much talking, and in a language she didn’t understand. The Goddess was quickly growing impatient with the spirit in human/animal form. She was placing her life in its hands so as not to anger it, but what of her anger? Despite the soothing rain her body felt sullied where this inferior creature dared to touch her. Perhaps she would remove his hands first before finishing him completely.
Around them the temperature took a sudden drop, the light rain that still fell turning to sleet. Almost instantly the precipitation in his hair and his clothing began to freeze, though the Goddess herself remained impervious. She would give the spirit a few more moments, but in the meantime she could slow her attacker down. She was through just standing there allowing herself to be abused and threatened.

"She is the land. Can't you feel her in the rain?"
His lips peeled back to reveal his teeth, Weapon X growled deep in his throat. The girl wasn't shutting up. She needed to shut up. But of course he could feel her in the rain. For a moment the anger faded as he looked down at her. His nose twitched and he blinked.
And then it got cold in a hurry.
Memories flooded through him of walking barefoot and half naked through the snow. Images flashed through his mind one by one and the rage started to rekindle.
But Weapon X had learned to control that rage to an end. He was the living weapon. Sleet and ice began to pelt him from the sky and thin translucent icicles hung from his hair and cape. "Turn off tha AC," he warned. Part of him didn't want to have to do it, but he did have to.
With a balled up fist he decked her square in the side of the cheek.

This, the almost human thing, it wasn't working. Rahne shook her head and the air froze around her. Cold, cold, and it reminded her of home. Like nothing had since she'd left. Taking the step sideways in her mind from the something like a girl view to the straight pure wolf, Rahne hunched against the ground. Face lengthening into a muzzle, bones giving a subtle crack underneath her skin as they changed shape.
And jumped.
Every inch of her focused on sinking her fangs into his wrist. Stop him from hitting the woman again.
