Hello hopefully soon to be comrades. I'm not actually a living breathing personality yet, but I was wanting to toss out a little scheme out into the midst of imagination land just in the off chance I don't get involved (but would love to see it acted out). I haven't had a chance to read back into the whole of last history's scheming, but there seems to be no cause for the house of M or the fall, and as cliche as it might be, what if Cerebro was the cause of it all?
Technology is an amazing thing, but it can also be crippling. With something that has the capacity to drain Xavier's mind and focus it, there might be some "ghost in the machine" that gets left behind and the machine would be able to give it a little life. Maybe a subconscious portion of Xavier (or possibly any other mutant powerful enough to use it) decides it wants to live out its own side of life, wanting everyone on equal footing, wanting everything balance - f--- the consequences, as it were. I know it's been done in canon before, and I think it'd be an amazing way to see how deep you can go into your characters' subconscious.
Now, how to pull it into the open? Well, there's still "that little voice" that seems to be saying that not everything is as kosher as a Hebrew National's beef hotdogs, and maybe that's because in the big scheme of things it's not (btw, neither are Hebrew National's hotdogs. Loot it up. Made me sad too...) I think if you guys dream long and hard enough, and look in the tiny corners of your peripherals, you might pull out an amazing storyline. Spooky, but spectacular. And the other kind of fun side, is it could be pretty much ANYONE who started this. You could all decide amongst yourselves who it is...or...it could be everyone. After all, Cerebro wants to help. And if everyone is secretly wishing for some semblance of normalcy...well, it tried to give it to you
Anywho, I was just throwing this out there. Feel free to call me a little off
