((feeling antsy, anyone want to play?))
Sam had been at the institute for a long time now, long enough to know that certain things just weren't wise. Asking Logan to put out his cigar, for example wasn't wise. Trying to win a prank war against Bobby or Guido wasn't wise. Such things were common knowledge.
It also wasn't wise to assume that you could find any sort of peace and/or quiet. Not that Sam wasn't used to such a notion, he did come from a home with seven other siblings. It was a commodity that he was not accustomed to having, and not one he took for granted.
So when he had settled in the lounge to try and finish Starship Troopers (the book, not the movie, Sam had a pretty strict code about finishing the book first in such situations), a book he had been trying to wrap up for a good month now. He knew he probably had very little time before the rare quiet disintegrated into.... well... what things were normally like around here.
It was only a matter of time. He had to read as quickly as he could.
