"That's my cue," Paige said, breaking free of Jono just for a moment to get clean. "I will admit I could just husk but a shower sounds like this side of heaven."
Christine rolled her shoulders, trying to work the kinks out. She'd shower once everyone else was done and she could safely have alone time.
"Just so I remember and don't say "hey you" all the time, with the exception of Rahne, Kyle and Christine, what are your names?" Moira asked.

"Paige," she called over her shoulder, turning to smile. "I can change my outer form so don't be too surprised if I show up looking different later."
"That's Taela," Christine said, indicating the other girl with them. "I think that's about everyone, right, Jono?"

"Aye, that's everyone. I think I'm going tae go bathe as well, before I sleep. Nicer tae be clean."
Rahne smiled at Moira, then looked around at the base.
"Ah, it's good tae be back."

"Very good," Christine said, glancing about the centre, a faint smile on her face. "I think I'll take a nap now, and take my shower when everyone else is done," she murmured quietly.
She knew she wasn't going to get much sleep - but she would attempt it. She shuddered slightly as she knew any day now - she'd be getting her nightmares. She was way past due for them.

Taela nodded when she was introduced.
"Don't mind me. I'm a shapeshifter, and I'll be in and out of any number of forms. Prettymuch if it's not a real creature, it's me." She shifted into a human form, with her favorite black duster and boots. "Got bathtubs in there? I don't care much for showers."

"Tub, shower, pool, I thought I saw Maria install a jacuzzi at one point," Christine said, ticking off items. "You've got your choice of soap, shampoo, shaving gel, aftershave if you're a male," she continued. "You name it, it's most likely in there."

Moira gave a nod. "I'm sure I'll get a very good explanation from Christine after she's rested. Getting it from her now would be like pulling teeth. You remember how stubborn she is."

"Mmm... food." Taela practically purred. "I am hungry, but I don't suppose y'all've got 'ny Scrapple." She was practically drooling at the thought of the grey square mass, most often called by her non-Delawarean relatives as the "mystery-meat". She composed herself quickly. "I'd love some Scrapple. Don't suppose I'll be gettin' any for a while. Generally a Delaware thing."

"Why would it make you turn Vegan? Haggis can be nice," Rahne asked, then started to sidle behind Moira when Christine glared at her.

"Clarence made me help make it," Christine said with a shudder. "And it didn't help matters that Christopher went into gory details when he walked in and saw us making it."
She tilted her head. "Sleep would be good."

Taela laughed. "I guess it's just not her cup'a'tea. No matter. I'll try this Haggis. Who knows, maybe it'll stop m'Scrapple withdrawl." She stretched, yawning with a bemused grin as the Demon Dragon finally settled down when it realized she'd stopped listening at the memory of Scrapple.
"I've never made Scrapple, or Haggis, but I have seen more th'n my fair share'a'gore. Happens when y'live at a stable with a bunch'a greenies."
