"Happy ter be an only child," Jonothon said, snickering slightly.
"I have no desire to play looming older brother, pet. Not even annoying younger one."

Jonothon leaned into another turn, looking for a carpark where they could leave the bike.
"So, everything seems to be more or less knitting itself back tergether."

"It promises to be interesting, that's for damn sure," Christine said. She paused a moment and shared with Jono an image of a person sitting in a director's chair with the word reality on it. In the hands of the person was a bunch of knitting needles. Knit one, purl two

Jonothon snorted with amusement.
"Oh yeah, I can see that happening alright."

"Sorry but that was the first thing that came to mind when you said that," she said, looking amused. "You have to admit I'm very creative."

"Creative in the *good* way," Jonothon said.
"Incidentally mad as a hatter, but we can overlook that."

"A little madness never hurt anyone," Christine said, smiling slightly. "Admit it, we telepaths have a very limited grasp on our sanity."

"Oh, there's no doubting that teeps skate the line far closer then anyone else," Jonothon said.
"Some things, people just weren't meant ter know about each other."

"Especially long term X-Men members. Jean has a habit of snooping. Least, I always thought ours did."

"I never really got to know our Jean. She came and went as she please some days. Annoyed the hell out of me. Especially when Xavier was captured in our reality. I could have used a bit of help in the telepathy department, but no~oh, I had to do that myself."

"Lucky. I was so ready to kill my reality's Jean when she came waltzing back after the mission - after I had already spent a few days as Phoenix. I was mad as hell. I couldn't believe that she could waltz in and out and not seem too concerned. Luckily, I reeled my temper in that day."
