OOC: Just to sum up what happens while ya'll are fighting the Sents.
Christine sneaks out of the mansion, and heads for Lilandra's ship, waking up the Shi'ar princess. She explains to Lilandra that she can't waste anymore time then she already has - that D'Ken is too damn close to the Crystal for her liking. Lilandra goes pale and agrees to take Christine. She senses something off about Phoenix's host - but doesn't want to call attention to it, for fear of angering the already short-tempered host.
Christine curls up in one of the chairs of Lilandra's ship, brooding over the events that forced her to go sooner then she had planned - Kurt's vanishing, Logan's death, and the nightmare that happened while at the club Jason was from. She sighs softly and nestles in the chair, trying to sleep. She feels a bit guilty for not telling the others she was leaving - but she was not one for teary goodbyes.
Lilandra glances over at the sleeping godling, and sighs softly. She is worried about the Phoenix - and the host most of all. She gets the feeling that something very wrong - and very bad is going to happen because of this battle - but it's too late to turn back now. The stage is set - and all it needs are it's players.

Christine stirs slowly, and sees the planet the Crystal is on. She looks over at Lilandra and nods, indicating that is the planet they need to land on. Lilandra nods back and the pair head for the planet. Lilandra asks if she's ready for the battle, and Christine just gives her a look. Lilandra draws back - uncomfortable with the look she was given.
The pair lands on the planet and disembark from the ship. Lilandra pulls her gun out and is glancing about - trying to see where her brother is hiding. Christine rolls her eyes and calls out to D'Ken.
D'Ken approaches the pair and the battle is on. Lilandra is knocked for a loop and is unable to continue the battle - leaving Phoenix the sole particpant in the battle, which suits Phoenix just fine.
Phoenix and D'Ken are evenly matched, and both eager to see the battle end as quickly as possible. Phoenix somehow manages to best D'Ken - knocking him into a comatose state where he'd be of little harm to anyone.

Phoenix sighs softly and walks over to the Crystal. "You're a beauty, my friend," she whispers softly. "But just too dangerous." She glances over at Lilandra and removes her necklace. "Here," she says as she tosses it over. "Give it to Ororo. Tell her... Tell her I fought with honor."
Lilandra looks at Phoenix, an expression of confusion on her alien features. "Phoenix...?" Somehow, the statement chills her to the core.
Phoenix doesn't answer as she forms the fiery bird and grabs the Crystal with her left "foot". "I'm taking the Crystal where it won't be used by anyone," she answers in Lilandra's mind. With that, the Phoenix vanishes from sight.
"Phoenix!!" Lilandra screams - realizing what that place is. "No!!"
Phoenix ignores the scream that echos in her head - her destination is set and her mind is made up. There is no turning back. Her golden eyes spot the sun - glowing and burning brightly in the darkness of space. 'Oh, Kurt, I wish you could see it,' she whispers in the rapport. 'It's so beautiful.'
However... fate had other things in store for the fiery Phoenix - and protecting the Crystal in its new home was not one of them.
