Christine adjusted her coat, and wandered down the streets of the city - trying to find Angel and apologize for what had happened earlier. "Merciful Father, I have squandered my days with plans of many things. This was not among them. But at this moment, I beg only to live the next few days well. For all we ought to have thought, and have not thought; all we ought to have said, and have not said; all we ought to have done, and have not done; I pray thee God for forgiveness," she whispered. From his perch upon a houses roof he sat in silent pondering questioning his reasons for both going agreeing to go along and for flying off so quickly.
But the solo superhero life was not one of long breaks and already his keen as a hawk vision had spotted a kitten stuck up a tree.
"Quaint but it shall take my mind off my concerns." Warren mumbled as he leapt from the roof and began his ascent, moving at a fast speed to not attract too much attention.
Hovering about the stranded kitten in its tree, he looked down at the thing and wished he lived and thought like the kitten, without any care beyond his own continued existance.
"Ah little kitten if only it were that simple." with this said he reached out and grasped the kitten in his arms, upon rescue the kitten snuggled into his arms and purred loudly which set off him smiling and stroking the kitten.
"Truly animals are the lucky creatures in this world."

Christine continued walking down the street. Her mind lost in thought about how best to apologize to the angel that nearly joined only to vanish when Toad appeared.
"What kind of leader am I if I can't keep everyone from fighting? We need to work together, now more then ever."

He gently placed the kitten upon the ground and softly pushed it along in an attempt to encourage it to go off on its own, but the kitten would have none of it and it simply began to rub itself against his legs.
"Come now little friend you must depart, I'm sure theres other kittens who need saving."
But still the kitten remained adament and now began to cling onto his leg.
"Look I know I'm lovable but please remove yourself little one." Warren said as he began to shake his leg in an increasingly furious attempt to shake the kitten off.

Taela watched Christine walk. With a flap of her large dragon wings she leapt back up into the sky and began circling. "Just wave when you're ready to go or want me to come down." She shouted to Christine before she reached a distance too far for vocal communication.

Christine nodded up at Taela, and continued walking. It wasn't an all too familiar area to her - especially at night. Already she was regretting it as she kept getting the sensation she was being followed.

As he shook his leg harder and harder the kitten only grew more and more persistant in its grip, lacking any other choice he took a slow flight hoping that the kitten would leap off from him but infact the opposite happened and the kitten now clutched to his leg in fear.
He gently landed and sat upon the pavement, folding his wings behind his trenchcoat, looking to the kitten he put his hand out to stroke the animal yet in its frightened anger the kitten bit him and ran off.
"How fickle, perhaps we are more alike than I thought."

OOC: that poor cat
Christine continued walking, her pace getting faster as she swore up and down that she heard someone behind her.
She swore softly under her breath and started running.

OOC: See he is a good guy, but has an odd sense of justice and general goodness.
With the kitten disposed off he rose from the floor and began to speed along the ground before taking off into a high flying ascent.
From his birds eye view of the city, he prowled the airways watching people go by yet keeping out of their vision, watching and wondering who would be next to require his help.

OOC: duh, I know that I used to read a lot of issues that had Warren in them "Hate being in a Yank town," she muttered under her breath as she stepped into an alley - trying to lose whoever was following her. However, alleys were never a good idea.

He continued to glide along the paths that the air offered him, twisting and turning upon the air waves, floating and twirling through the wisps of air.
Perching himself upon a nearby office building, he looked out upon the city, his keen vision seeing for at least a mile.
He saw that kitten again as it climbed into its owners arms, which caused Warren to both hiss and smile at the same time, his work was done there.
With his work done he took off again, flying now just for the thrill of it.

"Damn Yanks, can't they build decent roads," Christine said, running half blind through an alley - lost an understatement. She had long since lost track of Taela - or even where she was.
She didn't have her wallet on her and the only "expensive" thing she owned was small pearl necklace which she got as a present from a Christmas gift boutique that one of the children had shopped at during lunch at school.
She tripped and landed in a puddle of water, dampening her outfit. She stumbled to her feet, only to fall again as she had sprained her ankle when she had fell before. She felt something or someone grab her ankle.

The flight of an angel continued and although he was enjoying himself, he was still somewhat alert to events around him and his sense of goodness kept him aware of anything going on around him that would be considered 'evil'.
Knowing the best place to swoop between would be alleys, with the tight corners and such to truly test his flight abilities, yet also to check that nothing odd was happening in the most likely of places, Warren decided to gently float around the alleys and bring his righteous judgement upon any who were performing unlaw acts.

Christine struggled to break free of the man's grip on her ankle. "Let go of me, you crazed Yank," she snarled angrily. Of course he just had to grab her injured ankle. "Let me go!"

While his hearing was not as keen as his eyesight he could still hear something in the alleys, and it didn't sound like whatever it was, was fun but whatever it was it alerted Warren and he began to increase the speed with which he patrolled the back alleys.
