Taela laughed as she started up the game. She grabbed her striker and grinned. Christine's striker started to glide away from her. The puck fell out into a holder on Christine's side with a clink.
OOC-I have no idea what those things from airhockey are called! So I called them strikers.

Christine reached out and grabbed it (the striker). She lifted the puck out of the basket and placed it back down on the playing field. Her eyes flickered as if trying to figure something out. She tapped the puck in just the right spot and sent it richoceting (SP) into Taela's basket. "Even."

Taela laughed. "So, we've found what you're good at." She grinned evilly across the table as she put the puck back. She made it slide back and forth as she started to quietly sing as she aimed. "Forfeit the game before someone takes you out the frame and puts your name to shame.... KURT!" She called out slightly louder than her singing at the exact time she hit the puck and sent it flying towards Christine's goal. "Cover up your face, you can't run the race, the pace is too face, you just won't last...." She then continued.
OOC- the song, in case you're wondering, is Linkin Park's "Points of Authority"

Christine flushed as Taela called out Kurt. She stuck her tongue out playfully and picked up the puck. "Two can play that game," she chirped. Her blue eyes flickered between locking on Taela's and the basket. A sharp strike at the right spot and it went wizzing into the basket.

Taela shrugged as she pulled out the puck. "I ain't done yet." She grinned and aimed carefully. With a flick of the wrist she bounced the puck around the corner, off of Christine's striker, and into the goal. She then lowered her upper body so that she was in a prime position to block the next shot. "You like to think you're never wrong, you live what you learn...." Taela continued singing.

Christine sighed. "Nice trick, but it's wasted on a psychic," Christine murmured softly, and somehow without using her powers, managed to get it in - even if Taela was doing a good job of blocking the basket.

"Hey, no fair, you cheated!" Taela said. With a low growl, she smacked the puck back towards Christine, but not before sending a tiny tendril under the table to tickle the back of Christine's knees with a fuzzy tuft of fur. She also swelled her thumb so it blocked the entire goal.

"I knew your move," she said, sticking her tongue out. "But I didn't use my gift to make the goal." She swatted the thing that was tickling her knees.

Taela shrugged and drew back in everything. "Whatever." She said, grinning.

Christine yawned softly. "I'm exhausted," she muttered. "I'll be happy to get a good night's sleep."

Taela reached for the puck, only to find it wasn't there. "Looks like game over, you won." She said with a grin. "That was fun."

Christine smiled. "We have to do this again sometime. Make a weekly event so we don't go insane dealing with the male hormones."

"Sounds like a plan. I can teach you DDR!" Taela said with a grin. "Where to now?"

"You mentioned something about a Clares?" Christine ventured. "What is it?"

"God, girl, you need to get out more. It's a jewelry shop." Taela said, rolling her eyes.
