Christine parked her car and quietly lead Taela into the mall. "Well, what do you think?" she asked, referring to the large size of the mall. "Where do you want to go first?"

Taela's stomach growled slightly. "Hows about the food court? I've got a pizza craving." She looked around. "Then we can go to the arcade, and then maybe Claire's or Deb or somewhere like that. I want new earrings."

"Sounds like a plan to me," Christine said, smiling. "I don't think I've had a chance to relax in ages. Always too busy working at the mansion. I sometimes wonder if I'm really 16..."

As she began to walk towards the food stands, Taela grinned insanely. It was very obvious she loved malls. "Ya see, that's what I've noticed about you in the short time I've been here. You stretch yourself too thin, you do too much. Ya gotta cut yourself some slack. Sleep, relax, have some time to yourself! I personally like to allow at least a half hour to sitting in a treetop when it's nice out and just meditating or relaxing."

"Point - but some of the younger students need someone to look up to. After all, I'm one of the elder students. Been at Xavier's since I was a tiny thing - a mere ten." She sighed softly. "I'm trying - hopefully," she paused and blushed. "I can talk my boyfriend into taking me on vacation or something.."

Taela raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Boyfriend? I didn't know you had a boyfriend! What's he like?" She asked eagerly. She quickly ordered 2 slices of pizza and a soda before turning back to Christine.

Christine blushed shyly. "He goes to the school with us. Kurt. Kurt Wagner," she said, blushing. "He's a bit of a free spirit and a romantic." She quietly searched for him with her fledging pyschic rapport, sending him a bit of concern that he had vanished mixed with pure love for him. She loved him with everything she had.

Taela giggled. "Aww...you're blushing. It's so cute! He sounds like a keeper." As she picked up her food and paid, she paused for a moment, her eyes dimming slightly as she remembered someone from her past. One month until....no, Taela, don't think of it now. You'll only depress yourself. The thoughts came with a slight feeling of longing and loss. With a sign she shook her head to clear it. "So, what are you gonna get to eat?"

"Debating between a pizza and a salad," Christine said, eying both choices. "I like pizza but could afford to lose weight..." She looked thoughtful. "Ah, hell, I go with a piece of pizza."

Taela smiled. "You don't need to lose any wieght." She laughed as she set her food down on a table and started munching. "Besides, pizza tastes better than rabbit food."

"I swear I might as well steal a uniform from the Sailor Moon collection since our uniforms show a bit more skin then I like." OOC: *g* Taela's seen it

"Why? You might get more recruits that way!" Taela laughed. "Come to think of it, I've heard mentionings of uniforms, but I've never seen them."
