Cyclops
Name: Scott Summers
Aliases: Cyclops, Eric the Red, Slym, Slim
Age: 23
Height: 6’3”
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Optic Blast Red ™
Physical Description: Scott is tall and lanky and lost all baby fat long ago, which is why his teammates often refer to him as Slim. Scott’s too busy carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders to realize what a good-looking guy he is. He wears ruby quartz sunglasses at all times when not in his battlegear. Even his dearest love, Jean Grey, has never been able to gaze into his eyes.
Personality: Scott takes his roll as a leader seriously. He worries more about the safety of his team than what they think of him; leading new members to think he is something like an overbearing drill sergeant. In truth, Scott is a nice guy with a good sense of humor. He installs a sense of trust in the X-Men and is an excellent leader.
Powers: Scott’s never afraid to look danger in the eye, probably because of the mind-staggeringly powerful blasts of ruby colored concussive blasts that emit from his eyes… at all times. A special ruby quartz visor controls these blasts. Scott is immune to his own blasts and to those of his brother, Alex. Likewise, Alex is immune to Scott’s blasts. Scott controls his blasts by either a button on the side of his visor or smaller controls located in the palms of his gloves. The most powerful blast Scott can emit is that of 500 pounds per square inch, but Scott can control the blasts and lower that amount down to 2 pounds per square inch.
Limitations: Without his protective eyewear, Scott must keep his eyes closed or sufferer the consequences of literally having everything he looks at be destroyed by optic blasts. Scott is a normal human being in all other respects, a good smack on the head with a hammer will knock him right out.

Known Family: Brother Alex, Father Christopher believed deceased.
Education: Normal grade school but then was placed into an orphanage secretly run by Mr. Sinister. Professor located the young mutant after his powers first manifested and trained him as the first of the X-Men.
Hobbies and pastimes: Practicing in the Danger Room. Forcing others to practice in the Danger Room. Dating redheaded or platinum blonde telepaths, when he can get up the nerve to ask them out.
Favorite music: Dazzler, Aerosmith
Favorite foods: Chicken, peas, mashed potatoes.
Favorite Movie: Tombstone. Scott admires the character of Virgil Earp, who does the right thing when no one else will. (Even Wyatt!) Virgil goes on to be a sheriff even when he loses the use of one of his arms. This tenacity and drive is what Scott admires most.
Bio: (Lets use the patent pending TIMESCOPE to check out Scott’s bio! First, Lil’ Scotty.)
“Dad, when I grow up I wanna be inna armed forced and help people, like you!” Scott’s dad chuckles and ruffles Scott’s hair. “I know you’re going to be special, son. I know you will help many people,” he says.
(BORING! Lets fast forward. Hey look, a plane ride. Ah… I don’t think they see that UFO…)
“What was that dad!” exclaims Scott as his father puts the only parachute on him after the plane engine erupts in fire.
“I think it was lightning son, but I need you to be brave. You’re the oldest Scotty, you need to carry your brother to safety. Be brave son, we love you.”
Scott dives out of the plane, holding his brother in his arms. The chute opens but Scott hits the ground hard, giving him a head injury that later makes it impossible for him to control his optic blasts.
Scotty: “Ow.”
(Fast Forward! Hey, a cute redhead! Yowza!)
Scott’s heart skips a beat as the professor introduces him to the new student, Jean Grey. He gives her a soft smile. “Welcome to the school Jean. Can I show you around?”
(The End! Really. Ok, there is something with a Phoenix and some sort of reality shattering, but that is it. You don’t wanna see what happens next! I’m unplugging the TIMESCOPE! Step back buddy!)
