Given Name:Bella Donna Boudreaux
Codename: N/A
Age: 26
Detailed Description of Powers: After a meeting with the External Candra Bella Donna was granted powers one of which was to release plasmic energy from her hands. She is however unskilled in its use and when she uses these plasmic blasts they inflict little damage to the victims physical being, however hurts like hell for all the time she’s using it against them. A bit like a taser.
She also has unexplored psychic powers, giving her access to the astral plane. She’s only done it once and has no idea how to do it again, and doesn’t really want too.
Originally from: New Orleans
Known Family: Marius Boudreaux (father), Julian Boudreaux (Brother), Remy LeBeau (estranged husband), Jean-Luc LeBeau(father-in-law), Henri LeBeau (brother-in-law)
Physical Description: Bella Donna is 6’0 (Comicvine statistics) 150lbs and has the build and muscle of someone who works out almost every day. She isn’t exactly Olympic body builder but there is definitely some definition in her arms, legs and stomach. Her thick (bottle) blonde hair falls down to the middle of her back but is often either swept back into a tight ponytail or hanging down in lots of tiny braids. Good skin complexion, slightly tanned from spending a lot of time outdoors in the Good Old South.
When she is out ‘working’ she wears a special kind of armour that moves freely while she scales buildings and sneaks in windows, but protects her from any resistance she may receive from her marks or others in her profession. She brightens this cold metal up with a pale green cape, which is more trouble than its worth, but it makes the whole ensemble look good. Plus if she runs out of weapons or poisons it has proven very useful in strangulation.
When not at work her clothes tend to be more suited to the southern weather. Lots of light and loose fitting shirts, tank tops, shorts and skirts. There are a couple of dresses in her wardrobe for formal dinners and suchlike, but that is the only times they are ever really seen. Oh yes, and one wedding dress.
Personality: The general opinion of assassins is that they are classy, stoic and logical people with a rather clinical kind of brain and enough class to out class the classiest vampire…Bella Donna is anything but this. She may put on the image of an assassin but she has the good old southern sass and enough unbridled rage to often act without thinking at all. Could once have been accused at harbouring a romantic soul but in recent years has had anything but being particularly cynical about any kind of relationship. Since her younger years and carefree time as a teenager she’s got a grip on some of her emotions…but only just.
Other: (Feel free to include any extra information here, such as likes, dislikes, habits, hobbies... etc.)
Likes- Her job as an assassin, training in the gym, Jambalaya (only when Tante Mattie makes it though), dark chocolate, warm weather, swimming.
Dislikes- Cats, romantic novels/movies/television programmes, anyone who refers to her as a southern belle, rain, thieves, Cajuns who think they’re charming, people who run out on or after weddings.
Bio: She grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana in a rather stately home with all the finest things and surrounded by people. True these people were mostly trained killers but that didn’t make them unkind people. It just made them dangerous during an argument and since she was just the little darling when she was younger, she never got on the wrong side of them. It helped that they all seemed to teach her everything they knew about fighting and killing from a very young age so by the time she was six, she was pretty sure she could hold her own. Not that it mattered since her brother Julian seemed to be extremely protective of her, something which she found nice but mainly really annoying.
One day when she was out in the French Quarter a couple of men attempted to either attack her or kidnap her. She never found out what their intention was because at that point she met one Remy LeBeau who saw fit to save her from these brutes…something which she proved to him, she hadn’t needed at all. However the little girl who had read all those fairy tales was absolutely delighted anyway, whilst she wasn’t immediately besotted with him she felt he was maybe entertaining enough to spend time with every now and then, even if it was just to use as target practice. Of course the entire meeting had been engineered by their parents who soon began to think that the blossoming friendship between their children could be put to use. Bella Donna had no idea about this as she grew older and became more and more interested in Remy LeBeau, believing herself to be falling in love with him. So that when her father announced that a marriage would be arranged between the two of them, whilst she thought she was maybe a bit young, she didn’t care. She loved and cared about Remy, and she intended to do that for the rest of her life anyway so what difference would marriage mean.
Her brother however was not pleased with this arrangement and said so often. Bella tried to convince him otherwise but he would not listen to her. So that on the day of the wedding right after she had married her Cajun Prince, her brother spoke out and challenged him to a duel, which Julian lost. The Assassins were in uproar and wanted Remy’s life in return, something which Bella could not allow. Pleading with her father and the other members they agreed to spare his life and instead be exiled, so as to keep the new found peace between the thieves and assassins. She thought Remy would take her with him…but instead she was left waiting on a man who never came back for her. She waited for him for a long time but she heard nothing from him. Throwing herself into her work she intended to forget all about Remy LeBeau, and grew more bitter and cynical in the process. What with her brothers death she became next in line to inherit the Guild and did so after a couple of years when her father was involved in a tragic accident.
After receiving her powers from Candra the External, she wanted to learn how to use them and discovered the existence of a school that helped with such things. At that time a strange disease appeared to be running through New Orleans, something they were calling the brood. Leaving the guild in the hands of her second Gris Gris, she left New Orleans in search of not only a new found control of her powers but an answer as to what was terrorising her city.
And in the Interview:
Why did you choose our site?: Because it looked awesome and a couple of friends of mine said it was awesome.
What about this character do you like?: that she is normally the villain of most fanfics, I want to see if theirs maybe another level to her.
Have you ever RPed before? Where?: (If you wish, you can include a link to other RPGs here)Yes. On a Disney/Fantasy/Legend site called Avalon.
Please write a sample post for the character you want below: (*Ideas: Do something with someone (but don't control their character). Make it more than a one liner. Just post like you would in any other place.)
She should have taken that flight.
However that would have meant leaving the car back in New Orleans and she had grown up with this car. There was no way she was leaving it back there for some idiot in the guild to drive into a wall, or worse, sell off. Besides it was a good car, apart from the amount of gas it appeared to guzzle down and the constant adjustments and parts that always needed to be replaced. Ok so it was falling apart at the seams but she wasn’t going to give up on it, she wasn’t that kind of person. The kind that just gives up and runs away from something just because it didn’t work anymore. No, she stayed and worked on it until she couldn’t work on it anymore. The car still had some miles in it and damn it all she was going to squeeze every last inch from it.
“Oh Come [/i]on!” she shouted as the car stopped just before the garage, spluttering to a halt.
Hitting the wheel she glared at it and turned the key in the ignition, creating more spluttering noises before again, dying out. She was sure she had put in enough to last to the next garage. At least she had managed to pull the car in to the side of the road before it had died and the garage was only a five minute walk away. Sighing she reached into the back and grabbed the petrol can that she always kept handy and got out of the car. Hopefully, all it needed was petrol, and who knows maybe some kindly mechanic would give her a lift back to her car.
