OOC: If my Bible references offend anyone, please let me know. I do not intend to be offensive; I intend to be clever.
Alex managed to make his way to Professor Lensherr's office with some difficulty. Honestly, it was as if the Mansion had developed split personalities or something. When he had first entered, it felt like the Mansion had several different layouts clawing for attention in his memory. Once he had started on a path, though, things felt a bit more concrete. He didn't really understand the sensation, having never actually felt it before today, but it was decidedly odd.
Then memories started coming back to him, seemingly from a distant place: moving down the hallways to get from class to class, hanging out with Rogue and the other students in the dining room or the kitchen, going to Professor Lensherr's office to ask a question that the book couldn't quite answer. Alex hadn't been entirely a bookworm; he just liked learning. The teachers had told him that he had a natural gift for leadership and tactics. He had never truly felt all that leader-like or tactical, but looking back he supposed he had come up with some clever solutions in danger room sessions.
They had even given him a "codename," something they thought would make the students feel more special, more comfortable. Havok. He had never really liked the name, but he was feeling nostalgic.
He walked up to the Professor's door, envelope in hand, and knocked. He hoped the Prof would be there. Otherwise, this may have been a wasted trip. He took a look behind him at the hallways as he waited for a response.
No, he supposed it wouldn't be wasted, after all.
((tags either Magneto or someone who wants to tell Alex he looks stupid standing in a hallway))
