Time for a new chat.
Line forms here.
I saw a movie that I thought was pretty great. RED.
I'm not particularly fond of the color, but the motion picture gets two blue thumbs up from me.

Is that the one with Bruce Willis, or something like that? I heard my friends talking about it, but I somehow got the impression that it wasn't a recent movie out in theaters.
I think I got that impression because my friends are poor movie pirates, most of the time. They said it was good, too. Guess that's one I'm going to have to go see.

That's the one. It's based on a DC Comic written by Warren Ellis. Not sure how closely it tracks but I'm intrigued enough I'll probably get the trade paperback. The whole cast is great but I think John Malkovich ought to get some kind of award. He was awesome and hilarious.
Action like Bourne. Humor and writing like Ocean's 11.

I liked both of those movies. Well, I guess that settles it for me, then.
Very interesting new sig you've got there, btw. I'd ask if Beast has undergone his tertiary mutation, but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough.
When it comes to plot, I like being surprised.

If we spent time apologizing for being in moods there wouldn't be any time to write about the random crap we all excel at.
Hopefully I'll be answering some of the more pivotal unresolved plot questions very soon. I'm getting anxious to put some of the missing pieces in place because they play into where things are now. (And I'm pretty sure Gambit's tired of hearing me repeat it after all this time.) I think I'm going to have to compromise and do the outline version, though, just so it gets done this decade.
Has anyone else seen the proboards ipod/iphone app? It's pretty cool. Makes it really easy to follow the various threads.

You should talk.
I'd complain but I find myself in the awkward position of being at least as much to blame about that as you are.

so... when do we get to meet Hank again? Is he still an X-Men or has he become an Avenger/Defender (and forgotten that he was an X-Men)?

so, which of the Summers was it, Kitty? Scott or Alex?
or Buffy. Seriously, I saw a fic where Buffy was a cousin of Scott's. It was a Buffy/Spider-Man/X-Men x-over of epicness
