I have always thought the actions of men the best interpreters of their thoughts. - John Locke
For Jean Grey the pathways of a man's mind were like the air that filled her lungs, the food that she ate. They simply were and she let them pass through her and give her sustenance. She did as she was told to. She led them down approved boulevards, closed off dangerous avenues of thought. She spent so much time in other mens' minds, she fought to remember which thoughts and memories were her own. But the tortured and emptied mind of one man in particular was the only place she felt truly safe.
