Jeanne-Marie Beaubier has lived a double life for as long as she can remember. The public knows her as Aurora, the famous movie star with killer looks and enough attitude to spark the entertainment world.
As long as the public eye is on her, Aurora remains. Only alone, behind closed doors, does what’s left of Jeanne-Marie show itself.
But like Ali Blaire, Jeanne-Marie has begun to see that the world isn’t what she always believed it was, and while Aurora doesn’t care, Jeanne-Marie is riddled with conviction and guilt.
To speak of it is treasonous. To even think about it in the presence of her manager’s purple-haired assistant is somehow worse.
