In everything truth surpasses the imitation and copy. - Marcus Tullius Cicero
Madeline Pryor knew that she and Jean Grey were not sisters, though that was what everyone called them. She knew that the lack of natural telepaths had led someone in the government to make more. Their value in searching out normals was only overshadowed by their ability to keep the troops in line. They made sure all were loyal and followed Magneto's law. What neither of them knew for certain was... ...which one was the copy? Jean always said it didn't matter. They were both individuals and one was as good as the other. Madeline Pryor was determined to prove her wrong. Jean might be good and that might be good enough...but Madeline was even better.
