Caught between.

It seemed like everything in AJ's life felt that way.

Since she got her powers, Alexis Jake felt stuck between the living and the dead. But not really either.

And since she got this silly job, she felt like she was stuck between hungry guard dogs wearing an Oscar Mayer T-shirt. Or something. She was. Not the dogs.

Anyway - "intern" meant they were supposed to be teaching her something. But all that seemed to be happening was them running her around and arguing over her. Teaching her how not to do it, she supposed.

If she was going to be an "assistant" then they were going to have to pay her more. Especially if they wanted her to be two assistants.

She hadn't quite figured out how to approach that with the boss...

Physical Description: Short and thin, the ghost isn’t too happy about her physical stature, but she makes up for it in power.

Personality: Kind, loyal, sarcastic, fun and temperamental. As a young teen working for the media, she tries to do her best to prove her worth, but sometimes feels as if it’s not good enough. She often wonders if she is stuck between life and death. This makes her very thoughtful, but she doesn’t dwell on it. She has better things to do like getting the latest dirt on the celebs.

Powers: Alexis can only be described as paranormal. Able to shift her body into a orb-like state, she can pass through walls and levitate. She also has the power of energy manipulation of ectoplasm. This is used for throwing energy balls at people or making force fields for defense. Her most powerful form is her spirit form which allows her to leave her body but for a short amount of time.

Other Abilities: She also has the gift of ghosting. If you find pieces of furniture strode around, you’re not haunted, it’s just AJ.

Limitations: If she was to leave her body during her spirit form for more than the allotted time, she could risk losing her body.

Known Family: Nickolaus Jake and May Anderson

Bio: She was born into a human family in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents being human were captured and turned into slaves. At the age of fourteen, her powers began to manifest and she was taken in as a media intern by Guido Carosella himself.

Still learning the art of the trade, she works very hard to earn the respect she does. Only if it’s a little. She spends most of her time running errands, but when she’s not doing that, she’s sneaky around the city with Bobby tying to get the latest news. Did it all have to be the truth?
