...Okay. Maybe exploring indoors since it was raining and dark and stormy out hadn't been a good idea after all, Tara decides, spinning in place in the hall a moment, one hand fiddling absently with the dangling earring on one ear, green-blue eyes scanning the halls for some familiarity.
Not the best idea at all, but at least she's not bored now. Nighttime here meant either walks outside, or sitting around bored inside, so she'd thought maybe do the walking indoors. Not like she'd get any moonlight tonight with the storming and the clouds and all... But this was really getting ridiculous!
"Okay, so..." she murmurs aloud to herself, chewing on her bottom lip, then whining to herself, "Dude this place is a flippin' maze!"
It's not, normally. Not so hard to find her way around when she's in the proper living areas, but this was like, what, the labs and storage areas, and she hadn't meant to come this far down here, she'd just sort of made a wrong turn or ten, and so this place is probably not within the areas she's meant to go in and she really, really hopes no one finds her (well, no one finds her and gets mad at her for being down here, 'cause if she stays lost and no one ever finds her, that would suck so very, very badly).
She makes another small half-whining sigh-sound, and heads off towards the left. Best to keep moving, right, not just stand around, 'cause that way nothing ever gets done and getting things done is a good thing, especially if it means getting out of the halls and into the kitchen because she seriously needs some coffee after this nerve-wracking ordeal into the abyss that this place apparently becomes. (And she makes a mental note to herself not to play hide-and-seek with Callie down here, 'cause the last thing she needs to do is lose their daughter in their own home!)
Okay, so... this appears to be a dead-end. Sort of. There's a door at the end, and doors all around, but the hall itself stops and she stops too, standing in place again and sighing.
"Dude. So not cool." she grumbles to herself, turning on her heel and starting back up the way she came. Eventually it breaks into a run (because barefoot as she is, she doesn't have to worry about making noise and she's really-really starting to get creeped out 'cause it's all metal-and-white and while she likes metal (it's shiny!) the general lab-ness of it is just...
...eek!
Someone's coming up the hall ahead, around the corner and she can see their shadow, and she stops suddenly, so as not to slam into them. Of course, in doing so she trips over her own feet and ends up in a very ungraceful heap on the floor with a quiet squeak, peering up sheepishly through strands of red hair as the person comes around the corner.
[Open. Just randomness that happens when I'm bored at nearly-4-am. XD]
