After hours of choosing the proper wording and structure, Samuel had finished his report on the "Ultron" for Dr. McCoy. He sat at the head of the long table that occupied the majority of the room and put the finishing touches on his "presentation". To his left was a file, that he had composed, detailing what he had seen these things do. To his right, a very heavy bag.
Then the announcement he had asked to be broadcast sounded;
"Attention, all available SHIELD operatives please report to the conference room. Repeat all available operatives to the conference room"
He hated having to crawl to some scientist begging for help, but it was entirely necessary. Failure was not an option, and Magneto's favor was something Samuel would not gain twice.
It was his only hope. And it sickened him.
((Tag, any soldiers looking for something to do))

As Kenny was stretching a little at the hallways he heard the voice of Guthrie from the speaker informing that all SHEILD operatives should report to the conference report right away. "Sounds like a mission, time to go find out" he said as he enter the room and noticed Guthrie who always seem to give him a hard time at any cost, as Kenny looked at him with a long stare he saluted to show respect.

Samuel supressed an audible groan. Of any soldier they had in the place, it had to be Orion that responded first.
Well, at least he was punctual.
"At ease Orion, let's see how well your comrades follow orders."
Samuel then returned to his paper work, meticulously looking for any sort of error.

Available operatives?
Scott Summers knew that there was technically no such thing as being off duty. It didn't matter what the schedules said, if Commander Guthrie said to the conference room, you would be better off having died in combat than to disobey. For the most part Scott had no problem with obeying orders. Obedience was necessary in a fighting unit like S.H.I.E.L.D. It was required and essential.
Obeying Commander Guthrie however, was difficult to say the least.
Scott walked briskly into the conference room, noting that he was one of the first. Saluting Commander Guthrie, he stood beside his seat. Technically meetings of this nature did not require this protocol.
"Permission to take my seat, sir."
Scott only did it to prove a point.

"Granted, go ahead." Samuel responded curtly, with a only a hint of annoyance in his voice.
Of course Summers would show him attitude, that was the only issue Samuel really had with him. Well, that and his annoying tendency to undermine his orders.
But to see him actually responding in a timely fashion to one of his orders was....refreshing. Maybe all those trips to re-education were finally sinking in.
"Orion, you may be seated as well." He added.
"Gentlemen, I have an assignment, an important one involving our newest foe." Samuel began, "As you both know, it has becoming much more difficult to...neutralize the 'Ultron' the more we engage them in combat."
Enough dancing around it, time to suck it up. It was either this, or suffer Magneto's wrath.
"In summation, we are going to request some outside assistance..." He added, looking very much like he had tasted something rather bitter, "from Dr. Henry McCoy"
The way he said 'request' made it sound like it was going to be anything but.
"The file contains a written report, and must be kept safe. The duffel I will take care of myself, because frankly I wouldn't trust my own blood with it's contents, much less you two." He added.
"Any questions?"

Deefer was just stepping out of the shower when the announcement came, and she was damned if she was going to miss anything potentially important just because of that (though she knew it wasn't going to be vital, or the announcement wouldn't have said 'all available personnel', but still).
She ran a towel through her hair to get rid of the excess moisture and threw it up into a bun to minimise the dripping. She dried herself quickly, though her skin was still slightly damp as she pulled her clothes on and headed briskly for the conference room.
She knocked lightly before stepping inside, closing the door behind her and saluting. "Apologies for taking so long sir, I hope I haven't missed anything?" Oh how she hoped she hadn't missed anything. She briefly debated whether it would have been better for her reputation in the eyes of the commander if she hadn't turned up at all. No, if something was happening, she wanted to know about, a little bit of tardiness was regrettable, admittedly, but at least she was here. At least, she noted to herself, her wet hair and the fact she was almost sure her clothes were clinging a little to her damp skin would attest to where she'd been when the announcement came.

Better late than never, but it was unlike Mallone to be late for anything. Judging by the way her clothes clung to her skin and the general dampness of her hair and skin, Samuel made the assumption of his announcement interrupting her in the shower.
His eyes may have lingered a touch too long on her body. He quickly steadied himself, reminded instantly of his run-in with Weapon X. He had to focus.
"Mallone, glad you could join us," Samuel said, "I was just briefing Orion and Summers on how important the contents of this file and duffel we are transporting to Dr. McCoy's were...."
"And that if any whisper of their contents reaches civilian ears, let alone the enemy, I'll have them court marshalled....or worse."
Samuel knew the best way to ask something was to demand it. And nothing said "Do what I tell you" like a squad of armed soldiers barring the exits. The three of them would do just fine.
"Will you be joining us Mallone?" Samuel asked, though it wasn't truly a question anyways.

Scott dutifully took his own seat. Schooling his face to neutral came naturally for him, and he didn’t find much difficulty in keeping his real thoughts and emotions hidden from Commander Guthrie as the reason for the meeting came to light.
"Gentlemen, I have an assignment, an important one involving our newest foe." the Commander began, "As you both know, it has becoming much more difficult to...neutralize the 'Ultron' the more we engage them in combat."
Scott had his own theories behind the reason for that, but he kept them to himself.
"In summation, we are going to request some outside assistance..." He added, looking very much like he had tasted something rather bitter, "from Dr. Henry McCoy." It seemed pretty clear to Scott just exactly what the request was going to look like. Part of him suspected it would be best to keep Dr. McCoy as willing a participant as possible in all of this. There was a soft rapping on the door.
"Apologies for taking so long sir, I hope I haven't missed anything?"
Scott looked over at Deefer and did an obvious double take. Every male in the room was looking at exactly how the uniform was clinging to her damp skin. Knowing she could read his emotions had Scott’s cheeks burning slightly as he turned away.
Commander Guthrie filled Deefer in on the details, leaving them with a harsh warning should they tell anyone what was in the contents of the bag. Scott knew he was in regardless. His eyes stayed off of Deefer as he looked over at the Commander. “When do we leave?”

((Thought I forgot huh )) "Immediately.." Samuel barked, gathering up the duffel and rising quickly from his seat, "You've been breifed, let's move out." When Samuel gave an order, it was wise to heed it. Or else. He had no time to waste. The Ultron had to be stopped. ((continued Here ))
