Given Name: Tara Lynn Morrison
Codename: Luna
Age: 17
Detailed Description of Powers: Tara posesses the ability to gather energy from moonlight. This energy can be used for various purposes. She can use it to sustain herself, so she can go long periods without eating or resting. She can use it to heal herself from minor wounds (but this is draining, so she usually doesn't), or for self-levetation (also draining). Her primary use of it is to fire the energy at someone, which is expelled through her hands. The energy, when in direct contact, can do no worse than render someone unconcious, due to her lack of training. She had the potential to be deadly, but no desire to work on her powers, so it's unlikely that it will ever happen. If she goes for 48 hours without exposure to moonlight, she gets nausious, weak, and tired. But after a few hours of this, it goes away, and she cold easily pass for human, utterly powerless, until exposed again.
Originally from: Mississippi
Known Family: John and Emily Morrison (parents)
Physical Description-
Personality: Sweet, fun-loving, fiesty, sassy. Polite in social situations, but a lot less so in casual conversations. She has a morbid and sarcastic sense of humor. She's playful and flirtatious, and seems like a sweetheart, until she gets angry. She can hold a grudge for a long time, when angered, and tends to be hotheaded, and not think rationally when angry, though she doesn't usually get violent. Even when she's in a generally bad mood (not angry, just moody), she tends to stay levelheaded and normal, until pushed. Somewhat insomniac-like, on certian nights (full moon-nights, specifically.)
Other: She's extremely talented in art - painting, drawing, ect. She loves rock/heavy metal music, and tends to incorperate lyrics from songs into her art. She loves coffee, especally strong coffee, and popcorn. Not together, just in general.
Bio: Tara's story originally starts with her father. He was a police officer in New York, and in love with his best friend, named Tara Lynn Cullar, but in denial. They both manifested mutations late in life, during their reality's first manifestation of mutants ever. Tara's powers killed her. John married his then-girlfriend, Emily, years later, and named his first, and only, child after his lost love. Things went fine, a normal family-life, everything was picture perfect. Then, realities smashed, and Tara (this Tara) found herself in an utterly different reality, with an alternate personality in her mind.
This personality was her namesake, from another reality where she survived, and married John, theerfore having the exact same name. he two were mistakenly puit into the same body, somehow, and posessed mutant powers. This was when Tara was 15, and she tried to explain this to her family, but they were different versions, too, and didn't understand or believe her, or even remember her namesake-Tara anymore. But, as she was a mutant, they called around, and eventually decided to send her to Xavier's school, where they want her to learn to use her mutation properly, to control it. She has no desire to learn anything about it, and simply want to get her life back, and get the second Tara out of her mind.
She's taken on several traits from this alternate Tara, though, without realizing it, such as her gothic style, her artistic talents, and her love of heavy-metal and rock music.
