Dropping her upon the ground, he walks a short distance towards the mansion yet stops a respectfully distance, still unsure about the entire situation, knowing that it had been his ego that had led him here.
"Perhaps I create a new level, no?" He said with a wink, yet inside he struggled with the strain of pretending so much self confidence.

She rolled her eyes ever so slightly. "Right, I forgot to introduce myself earlier. The name's Christine MacTaggert," she said with a soft smile on her face. "Shall we go inside where it's warmer?"

He closed his eyes and his large, white, angelic wings flew out to their full lengths then slowly withdrew to tuck behind him, so as to cause no inconvience.
"While I am being a superhero as I am now, I am called Angel. We shall do as you will, Christine."

She nodded and opened the door. "Well, I think getting a cup of coffee would be a wise idea." She telekinetically changed her blue pants suit into a white tee-shirt and a pair of jeans. "We can discuss everything you need to know over one. Unless you rather not..."

"I must admit that I have my reservations, I do enjoy my solo superhero lifestyle and I trust you do know that quite likely I won't be joining but I am willing to listen." He said matter of factly and crossed his arms to show his determination.

Toad was just feeling like getting some of the energy out from being cooped up in this shack of a mansion. He was hopping at full speed down the corridors, off the walls, off the ceilings, knocking on people’s doors all the way down and just having a good time.
Master said I could spy on the ladies. He WANTS me to! He did a flip in the air and rebounded off the corner-running squarely into a newcomer. He bounced off and fell to the ground.
Looking up at the tall winged man his eyes got wide in fear. “Don’t tell me you’re related to Condor!”<br>

Christine refrained from slapping him. "And all you have to worry about is your little superheroing?" she asked. "Unlike you, we're a family. And we need all the help we can get. Not only do I have to play superhero, I have to run training sims for the younger students, play mother hen for younge students, and somehow find time to attend school and attend the training sims for the older students."

Stumbling backwards from having the toad shaped projectile bounce into him, Warren span around, a fierce look to his face as he looked down at Toad, indigination plastered across his face.
"How dare you! what in hell are you freak show? a mutant? and who or what is Condor?."

Christine's eyes flashed gold as she was trying hard to keep her temper. "ENOUGH! THE TWO OF YOU!" she snapped. "Toad, he's not related to Condor. Angel, this is Toad. He's a mutant."

Taela slipped inside just behind the two silently. She trotted around to Christine's side. As always, she had decided that she would wander about in dragonfox form. "Hey Christine. I saw you two fly in from the trees outside. Who's the newbie?" She asked, sitting on the ground near her, folding in her large dragon wings and wrapping her twin tails around her like a cat.

"Only the master of freaks himself!" Toad said as he picked himself up with a smile. "Say, are those things real?" He asked, walking around behind Warren and inspecting the feathered appendages. "Well it sure ain't Halloween no more, so I guess they might be, yo."
He smiled a grungy brown-toothed smile at him and stuck out a slimy hand. "People call me Toad...or Toad King if you prefer."
Then he noticed the weird creature beside him and he jumped up to the ceiling with a shriek before Warren could shake his hand. "What is that thing?"

"Toad, those wings are real," she hissed softly, feeling highly agitated. "Taela, this is Angel." She could feel the flames wanting to form and surround her lithe form.

He looked down at Toad's slimy hand, the upper class brat in him finding nothing but disgust at both Toad's words and appearance.
With a cringe to his face he speaks in a slow disgusted manner. "I'd rather not shake your hand... Toad."
Looking around he noticed what Toad had noticed and his head jumped back a little. "Is that another mutant Christine?"

"Yes, Taela's another mutant. She's a shapeshifter," Christine said. Her eyes still glittered gold. Phoenix wanted out - badly. She couldn't stand stupidity.

Naive people often have stupidity when dealing with that which they are naive about.
"These mutants are very different than I had excepted.. I'd thought they would look like you or me."
