Christine stirred and stood up. She gently placed a kiss on Kurt's cheek and walked to the head of the plane. "How far we from the Arch, Logan?" she asked, placing a hand on the back of his chair.
She allowed her powers to whisp out and seek out the professor - trying to pinpoint a location for the man in charge. "He's in there.. Somewhere.. underground."

Wolverine
The problem of course was that you couldn't just land a plane like the Blackbird anywhere you wanted. Logan had set them down several miles outside of the city of St Louis in an open field off of highway I-70.
He looked back at Chris and said, "We got a bit of a journey to get to St Louis, but no more than twenty minutes if we..." He stopped in mid thought as he saw Magneto stepping up to the highway and holding his hand out.
A large semi came skidding to a halt.
"And to think I was just gonna go stick my thumb out."

"Well, that's one way to get a ride," Christine said looking at Logan. "Okay, everyone remember what team they are on or am I going to have to remind them?"

"So we stealin' a semi ta find dis place? Well, can't say we don' travel in style!" Remy joked, coming up behind Christine and Logan. Taking in the appearance of the odd group of mutants, he chuckled.
"Well, I guess it be better den walkin'. We ain't exactly de picture o' normal, here. Don' t'ink too many people be believin' we jus' out fo' a nice stroll."

Magneto
"A normal mode of transportation would not carry us all." Magneto said looking at Blob while he spoke. No way would it carry our obese friend.
Strolling up to the drivers side of the cab Magneto climbed up and grabbed the frightened man by the shirt, pulling him out of his seat and throwing him onto the pavement of the busy highway. Miraculously he was not run over and had time to scramble to the side of the road fearfully. Magneto slid in the drivers seat and shut the door as casually as if he were taking a stroll through the park on a sunny spring day.
"Everybody get in back!" He shouted out his window over the roar of the traffic.

OOC: the mental image amuses me LOL
Christine quietly climbed up into the truck and sat as close as to the cab as possible. She closed her eyes and started to concentrate on what she felt. It wouldn't be hard to find the professor - she hoped.

Tromping off the plane, Rogue stood silently as she watched Magneto call a cab. Not too shabby... Though Ah would have chosen an ice-cream truck. Have some munchies on the way... she thought goofily as she sighed and headed to the back entrence into the over-sized cab.
Entering the trailer, Rogue picked a spot towards the middle and sat on a box against the wall watching to see where everyone else would sit. Curling up and bringing her knees to her nose, the Goth watched Remy cautiously, hoping he might look her way.
Ah wonder what exactally we'll have to do to "distract" people?
(OOC~ this is soooo funny! My mom grew up in St.Louis! Weird! Heehee... I know the area!)

-----Blob----- Having lost his lunch(and breackfast) on the plane(check page 6, or 5 maybe),, Blob was still in no condition to do anything wxcept take basic orders, and THAT was a basic order. Setting one foot in the truck, Blob winced as his leg fell about a foot and teh sudden motion caused im to pull a muscle when he wasn't prepared for it, though he normally would have been. Blob then proceeded to the very back of the boxes upon boxes of brown paper bags. (ooc, sorry if mags did not exactly say he opened the back door, but it is in his character, powrs, and just a tiny step from his actual post, so.)
(i lived in the city when i was 4-5, i know the basic arcetecture. FUN)

Jumping swiftly into the trailer, Remy felt Rogue's eyes on him. Settling himself directly across from her, on the opposite wall, he met her gaze. He tried to give her a reassuring smile, although inside, he was just as nervous as everyone else.
Dis tension ju' about killin' me! But it be okay. Dis mission go off wit'out a hitch, an' den we can all go back ta de mansion fo' some much needed R an' R. Den maybe we'll finally get chance ta talk... before we all have ta go off ta war.
Absentmindedly, Remy reached into one of his pockets. Forgetting about the rest of his company for a moment, he removed the Queen of Hearts that Rogue had given him. He sighed, remembering that day. The last good day he had, before the whole world went to hell.

Slowly lifting her head as she saw Remy walk in, Rogue watched him move to the opposite side of the trailer and sit down, his eyes locking with hers. Absentmindedly, she got up and wandered next to him, kneeling down. "Is this seat taken?" she asked quietly, pointing to the wall next to him.
Right now, she wanted to be close to someone, as it may be the last time... No! Don't think that! Gotta be optimistic! her mind cried.
Chancing a glance at the cajuns face, she smiled just a bit before lowering her steel-grey eyes again. It was then that they caught on something vaguely familliar... He... kept that? Rogue sat in shock as she looked at teh Queen of Hearts that he held in his hands. Wasn't he going to blow it up?

Christine kept her eyes closed - trying to fix a lock on the professor telepathically. She silently hoped Kurt would join the others in the trailer - she needed him there - it was the only way she would be calm. "He's under the arch. He's in a room - there's I think a robot there - I can't tell."

Wolverine
Noticing the glances that Rogue and Gambit kept stealing from each other Logan sputtered his lips in protest. "Give me a break will you two?"
He crouched next to a couple of boxes right in front of the Blob. "Man you still look a little green, bub."
Maybe I oughta sit somewhere else...

Wolverine's gruff voice broke Remy out of his memories. Glancing over at Rogue, who had moved next to him, he gave her a small smile.
"Non, chere. Sit if you like," he replied, slipping the card back into his pocket. He hoped she hadn't noticed, but from the look on her face, he knew that she had.
"Jus' rememberin' better days..." he said softly, looking around the box at the other mutants.

Christine kept whispering to herself what she saw - trying to make sense of it. "A robot.. big.." she whispered. "Very big.." She closed her eyes tighter. "Underground... round room..."

"The good days, huh?" Rogue asked quietly... Does he mean...? But her thoughts were suddenly broken by the announcment that Chris made to the group. No! It can't be! We are all in danger!
"Sentinals," she spoke in a horse whisper, sitting, almost collapsing, to the left of the stunned Remy, a look of utmost terror on her face. Shaking her head, she leaned it back against the wall and made a mental note not to scream too loud when they entered the arch.
The memories flooding back, they seemed to suffocate her as she realized what the threat facing them really was... This is not going to be easy! Her right hand flew to the cut of that side of her waist and placed itself over it as if for protection. Suddenly, the aching nerves that she had had before seemed nothing compared to the reckless terror that she felt evading her mind now. Just as she sat there, flashes of the previous fight with the things came groping back at her and sent shivers trailing up her spine.
