(OOC: I'll try and get something written to cover this - okay. Give me, oh, ten minutes?
OOC2: Okay - it's bad, but it's a quick piece to cover up the goof)
Everyone, excluding the X-Men and Acolytes, in Saint Louis were glued to their television sets as they viewed with horror the destruction of a beloved landmark. Most of the people had no idea what was going on – or what had caused it. The only thing they knew is that something big was happening in their town and it did not look pretty.

Sliding out of the truck, Callisto grabbed her staff and had put back her air of waryness and her tough exterior. Having her normal smileless face, she looked around at the mayhem. Magneto's causing attention. I may be working with him, but I don't like it.
Hearing Chris say 'our kind', Callisto looked disgusted. "Magneto and I are not the same kind. Never, and don't forget that." Turning her back to the mutants, she gave a small gasp as she noticed a dark cloud of smoke come up from where something large had just fallen. They here. Whoever they are.
Flipping back around, Callisto instantly pulled her coat tighter around her and hat lower as an insinctive thing. Hopefully, we won't get blamed for this. But if we do, I'm ready. Swining her staff so that it was infront of her, she frowned as the city was being rapidly demolished. Knowing they didn't have much time, she decided it was time to used her skills. "Chris, I think we better go underground. For many reasons..."
Up here on the topside I am useless. Below is where I thrive....

Christine nodded at Callisto. "The base is underground. The sooner we get in, the sooner we get out. I don't like this - it feels wrong," she said calmly. "Magneto. When you're done playing, we have a mission. Inside the base."

Turning away, Rogue sighed as if dissappointed and thought, IF we live throught this! And with a nervous glance over her shoulder, the Goth sped down to where Magnus was and calmly said, "Okay, you've had your fun... My business is done. Now, let's get on with this mission and leave these people alone."
Her eyes bright and a flame blazing within them, she attemped to stare Magneto down...weither it worked or not, she was not sure. Then she began to head for the opening to the underground area of the display, that was once, the Arch...
(OOC- yal just made it soooo hard to post! What is going on! *looks confused* and quit bangin' your head cajun! You'll damage your head, and that's kinda what we need right now.)

OOC: Sorry, Rogue. I promise to try and go slower. Get ready to head Underground
Christine had started walking away from Magneto - not wanting to hear any explanation. In her eyes, there was none. He had taken the life of an innocent by-stander who had nothing to do with the mission and she was angry at how casually he had done it.

-----Condor----- Lord, Forgive me, I am sinning, but to save the lives of mllions of your creations, I am willing to sacrifice hundreds."Vater, verzeihen mir!" And with that, COndor realeased teh first of many warheads he had in his arsenal, then he sent a message to Juggernaut to pen fire, and passed controls for all nonexplosive weapons to the larger man-namely Chafe missile and machine guns. the first missile, from underneath the right wing, near the centre, soared into the base of an office building near the arch at the river, not eight blocks from a traffic jam that was begiing to dispearse. The resulting explosion crumpled several buildings(call it five or so) adn dropped the bridge into the river. The Us military realeased numorous of their own missiles and bullets, the missiles exploding prematurly on Juggernauts chafes, the machine gun bullets evaded for the most part by supperior mobility in the jet. The dust that arose from the resulting metal rain, also cleared away to reveal the entrance to a huge underground complex that appeared impervious to any damage musterable by any forces present. *****translate Father, forgive me! to clear everything up, i am reposting my post from earlier, in THIS THREAD! teh Arch is near the bridge and would have been either hidden or destroyed by Condors onslaught, in case noone else knew that,
