Christine wordlessly reached behind her neck and undid the latch on her cross necklace. She held the small golden piece in her hand and sighed. It had been in the family for years - given as a gift by her grandfather to her grandmother. Silently she walked over to Kurt and fastened it around his neck. As she walked off, Rogue suddenly felt a light but secure grip about her arm that took her by surprise. As it turned her around, Rogue came face to face with Remy, a soft look on his features. What? Ah thought... but, maybe, just maybe...
Feeling him let go of her arm, Rogue watched as he reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear and she sharply took in a breath, her muscles tightening. Listening to his small and quiet speech, Rogue found that she had lost her voice somewhere around the part where he said "walk away like this."
A smile creeping across her face, her eyes lit up and the Goth finally felt accepted. "And... How's that Remy?" she asked quietly, though she thought she already knew. Drawing closer, Rogue grinned as her eyes searched his own for the feelings behind this little chat.
Well! If this goes the way Ah think it's gonna, then Ah will certianly be one happy mutant... especially if we get outta here in one piece! the youth thought to herself, lifting one gloved hand and placing it on his shoulder.
She knew Magnus wasn't too happy right now, but that wasn't her problem. Somethings needed to be dealed with, or they'd have problems on the mission, and he, in her opinion, really needs to be told that.

Clearly losing patience Magneto shouted. "We can continue with this soap opera at another time!" His voice suddenly began to drip with sarcasm, "Though it is SO entertaining for all of us..."
The man in the cab he had toppled began to move a little and was trying to escape through a busted out window. Magneto turned to him with grinding teeth and murderous eyes.

Christine shyly kissed Kurt on the lips before turning and head to the front of the group. "You know, it won't kill you to wait a few minutes - after all, who knows if we will see each other again due to the level of danger in this mission."
Christine's gaze shifted over to the cabdriver. "Magneto," she said coolly, "what did you do?"

Wolverine
Looking around in disbelief at what was going on around him, Logan thought he must have been losing his mind. Magneto just practically killed a dude and these people are all just too caught up in their drama to notice!
"You people need help!" He said and broke into a sprint over to where the cab lay on top in the middle of the road and tried to open the door. It was jammed, but he could see the man inside was barely moving, trying to pull himself out.
"Hold tight bub." He said and his claws sprang out. He cut the door in two and pulled the pieces off, reaching in to drag the horribly mangled man out.

He waved his blubbery arms in teh general direction of teh now destroyed part of the city.
Blob was sick of the mushy stuff, and wanted to get on with his part of the mission.

Magneto sneered at the young girl who dared to try and order him around. "I never signed on under your 'leadership' girl. These humans mean nothing to me, and if any of them get in my way I will brush them off without a second thought."
Much like that foolish parking lot attendant. He thought to himself. Nobody had seemed to notice him yet.
"But to avoid an argument with fools, I nod my head to your words." He nodded.

Finally snapping back to reality, Remy noticed the shouts coming from his teamates. Breaking the eye contact with Rogue, he turned to see Logan jumping over a bank, toward a crushed car.
Good t'ing he didn't see what Magneto did durin' dat traffic jam! Well, time ta go play hero!
Turning his gaze back to Rogue, he gave her an appologetic look.
"We finish dis later, after de mission," he said, before turning away. Throwing his coat on, he bounded down the bank after Logan.

"I will not have senseless bloodshed! We're here to save the professor. No more. No less," she snarled. "Keep your blood feud to a minimum." She gave a small gesture to her team indicating that she was heading in now and they should follow her - if they were wise.

(OOC: Yeah, but my only problem is that we are all standing there clueless about it, and the people in the city are all clueless about it according to how we've posted. Don't you think they would notice if the city was blown up? Something needs to be done or this scene has lost credibility in my opinion.)
