Something was different in the air when Magneto came back up the stairs from the medlab. He could feel a presence again. It's her. Lilandra. He closed his eyes and it was almost overpowering-her presence was a lot stronger this time.
Lilandra? I feel you are quite near the Earth now. Lilandra?

Great. More X-files nonsense coming through the door.
The phrases "insane brother" and "sending someone to retrieve me" finally connected in his head.
"Waitaminnit! We got a problem, Houston. So now you got a bounty hunter or somethin' after you?"

"Try the Imperial Guard," she corrected before rising up from her seat as she sensed someone calling her. I'm in your kitchen.

Having run into Larza in the upstairs hallway, Storm had been told she was needed in the foyer. Making her way down the stairs, she was greeted with only emptiness, until she heard voices emanating from the kitchen. Stepping through the side door, Storm saw that one voice belonged to Guido, and the other to a strange woman.
“Guido? Larza informed me I was needed, but did not elaborate. I see we have a guest,” she said, giving the woman a suspicious glance.

Cripes. First Sentinels, now this. I need a vacation.
He heard footsteps approaching, and sighed in relief. Finally. Cavalry's here.
He turned to see Storm in the doorway. "Hey Ororo. Yeah, I think ya might wanna talk to our new guest. This is, uh, Grand Admiral Lilandra of...uh...this is Lilandra. Lilandra, Ororo Munro."

'Here I go again. I'm getting tired of having to say this over and over again. Why didn't the person I first spoke to on the mental level tell them who I was?' she thought. "My name is Lilandra Neramani. I am, was, the Grand Admiral of the Shi'ar Empire's fleet. I came to Earth in search of Phoenix."
'And enter round 10 of question the alien.'

Swinging open the kitchen door, Magneto saw a group of mutants hovering over that face that he had seen in the visions. "Lilandra." He said in a deep voice, and everyone turned.
"Please, give her some room to breathe-she has had a very long journey to get here." He thought for a minute. "On second thought, let me offer to take you on a tour of the grounds here. I think we have much to discuss."

Lilandra blushed at the well-timed appearance of her "savior" to get her out of "Ask the Alien". She smiled and rose from her chair. Her eyes traveled down his figure and she fought hard to kill the blush. "I think that's an excellent idea," she murmured.

Before Storm could respond to the introduction, Magneto appeared. Seeing that he seemed to know this ‘Lilandra’, Storm turned to him with a shocked expression.
“You seem to know more about this than the rest of us,” she said, her tone cold. “If this involves Christine, I would much appreciate it if you would be forward with your information.”<br>

As Lilandra took his proffered arm, Magneto turned to Storm. "I was not intending to keep you in the dark for long, and I do promise to fill you in on all the details soon. The reason I have not said anything is because I have not had long to think about it." He looked at Lilandra. "In fact, I was not sure whether my mind was playing tricks on me or not."
He gave Storm a long look. "When I have figured out what is going on I will share it with you and Henry. For now, it is better that I talk to Lilandra alone." He waited for her response before he would leave.

'I wonder if all earthers are *this* friendly,' Lilandra thought as she watched the African goddess quarrel with the other mutant. "I am quite real, thank you very much."

This whole situation made Storm very uneasy. She had decided to give Magneto the benefit of the doubt, but in light of this new information, she started to second guess this decision.
But if he truly has had contact with her before, maybe she will trust him with information she would not share with the rest of us. And I must continue to believe that Erik’s intentions are good, and that he will share with us what he learns.
“Very well,” was her only response as she watched the two leave.
“When did she arrive?” Storm asked Guido, once they were left alone in the room.

"Just a few minutes ago," Guido replied. "I came up on her arguin' with Christine and Gambit, an' I stepped in ta see what was goin' on. Chris didn't seem to take what they were talkin' about very well, so Gambit took her inta town ta clear her head a bit. I thought you and Logan and McCoy would probably wanna talk to her too."
He snorted. "Apparently, Mags REALLY wanted ta talk to her."

Magneto and Lilandra left the kitchen and he led her through the mansion rooms silently. He realized this didn't look good for him to be keeping secrets, but he stuck by his decision to not share his vision with others. It only happened two days ago! How did she get here so fast?
Stopping at the back door he turned to her. "My colleagues have many reasons not to trust me already. Your arrival here, while not unwelcome, will surely upset things significantly." Opening the patio door with his power he felt the cool autumn air blowing in. "Let us talk outside where we can have at least a modicum of privacy."

“Christine?” Storm asked, as Lilandra’s earlier words rang through her head.
“I came to Earth in search of Phoenix."
“Did she happen to say what it is she wants with Christine?” she asked, concerned. Although she didn’t really like the idea of anyone straying too far from the mansion, she was grateful that Gambit had taken Christine away until things could get sorted out.
