Erik looked at Henry standing there holding Christine in his large arms and looking down at her with sadness, then he followed Lilandra’s cue. “We will continue our conversation at a later time as well, Henry. Tomorrow, after you have had a chance to digest some of this.”<br> He went to the door and held it open, looking back to Lilandra with raised eyebrows.

Christine stirred slightly. "What... what happened?" she asked softly. "Don't... don't remember..." She held her head, and tried to get up out of the chair.

Erik decided to let Henry respond to Chris. He just gave one last look at Lilandra to see if she was going to follow and then turned to walk through the open door.
Just then the room began to shake and rumble with the sound of the jet as it was taking off. "Henry," Magneto said evenly, "Looks like we have a problem."

Henry shot a glance at her. "That's enough", he said sternly. His tone was fatherly - but with a hint of playfulness, too. "Time out, young lady. You've been benched." With that, he carried her off toward the medlab.

"Just what *is* that noise?" Lilandra asked, glancing about her hand on her gun. She looked ill at ease with the odd noise.
